Having read the other reviews maybe we ate at this restaurant on the wrong night! We both had the burger,which was miniscule,and the chips were soggy and barely warm.The service however was very good,although the price was on the high side for what was a disappointing dinner. The view over the port very good.We did not return during our 7 days visit

Visited twice during a family holiday. Beautiful setting outdoors - bouncy castle & mini golf for kids. Kids meals- burger & chicken nuggets of very good quality. They should probably say that kids burger comes with cheese though. Duck & pork fillet & cod mains excellent. Ravioli starter delicious. Deserts lovely also. Bill took 20 minutes to come the first night which was unfortunate. Would highly recommend.

Upon a recent visit to le Windy booked through Tripadvisor we were thoroughly disappointed. It was a special occasion for my sisters birthday and we had anticipated good things. Food took far too long to come and when it did it was very disappointing, Out of a group of 8 of us only two people enjoyed anything they received which was a goats cheese salad and stuffed sea bass. The cod tasted like it was frozen, the moules were chewy and the bavette was inedible.One server was fantastic and she was really the only reason we didn't all walk away from the meal. The other server was terrible. We had to get our own menus, knifes and forks from other tables, glasses and pick up our drinks order from the bar as it was sitting waiting in the heat. His colleague was visibly embarrassed by his attitude to work and apologised several times.I would not recommend it in anyway.

Me and my girlfriend went there for dinner, we had a paella, a tomato salad and a gazpacho. The salad consisted of supermarket mozzarella balls, a couple of tomatos and some tasteless green salad, 8,5 ⬠for that is borderline steal. Paella was alright, nothing special and gazpacho was not bad, but not really worth 5 ⬠for a glass. Wine was good value though. They also charged 2 ⬠for service, first time ever I have been charged for service in France, ironic since service was mediocre.

Visited here in Friday afternoon as we had researched and thought that was when tours were.Unfortunately tours are only on Friday and Saturday mornings at 10.30 and are only in FrenchVery helpful barman explained the beers and offered tastersThere is a lovely garden area to relax in and agood beer shop tooHomemade Lemonade (voted a bit watery and sweet) coke (not tried) and excellent orangina type drink also on saleTapas and live music some evenings in summer too

Didn't get a chance to eat here. Waited 15 - 20 minutes after sitting down, no menu or waiting staff. Others arrived, seated, ordered, etc.We walked out, no one said anything. Good selection of cooked to order tapas. Small, closely positioned tables. Food range and quality mediocre, if expensive for portion size. Staff, young friendly and mostly bilingual. Seat covers and menus require cleaning. Facilities, (1 wc) hot, untidy, lacking in hot water and frequented by too many non-customers. Good place for an "apres plage" snack or/and libation and rest, but not for dinner. The ice cream parlour across the road, served by the same staff serves smashing "salty caramel" ice cream.

After too many disappointing 'budget' meals in the usual local restaurants, we were almost set to drive to McD's for a reliable, cheap meal.However we studied TripAdvisor and settled on this place for a simple pizza.Like others have said, they are a real meal in themselves, and seem so much more than 'just a pizza'. Both the chicken and pineapple, and the texan were veery enjoyable and good value.Fully recommended and nice to find good value simple food around the port area.

Excellent tapas and a nice place to stop after walking the 3 miles from the campsite. Excellent presentation of the manchego tapas platter, washed down by a glass of vin rouge!
