A busy restaurant located in the covered market square. We went there for lunch. Meals enjoyable and generous. Staff helpful and friendly. Only negative- smokers on neighbouring tables.

Superb local specialites (Foie Gras, Duck Breast, local wines), popular with the younger set. Highly recommend whatever is featured, but the Foie Gras is an absolute must. Classic combination of Bistro and Dining Room.

Waiter was surly because we didn't order wine at 4, since dinner began at 5.We came back at 6; he was still surly. The ONLY discourteous Frenchman we met in 3-1/2 weeks.Wife had cassoulet....worst in the Dordogne. I had something equally unmemorable; not at all the French experience we had hoped to have.
