I visited this friendly little restaurant twice in 5 days. On the first visit I chose the calamari from the specials menu, which was delicious. I haven't tasted calamari as tasty as that outside Greece! The second visit, I chose the Catalan lasagne - which was sublime. Spicy, but not hot & absolutely fantastic. The waiter on both nights was friendly & made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant & saw families with small children on both nights I visited - so it's family friendly too.

Went in and received a warm welcome. Chose from the â¬23menu that gave a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts. All the food was based on regional recipes but with a twist. As it was the 1st of May, all the ladies received a Lilly of the Valley flower as is the tradition dating back to 1590.

We kept going back to eat here, it was relaxed, great varied menu and brilliant service. Nice location for any time of day.

We had a brochette of âmagnet de canardâ/apple quarters/red pepper, served from a hanging skewer (very original), accompanied with salad and fries. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Made the experience very unique.

This a small diner (in a prefab building) beside the small fishing lake and camp site in Prades. It serves meat and fish cooked in the Catalan style directly on the grill/barbecue. All dishes are served with home-made fries, house salad and very garlicky mustard mayo. It is neither expensive nor fancy but good simple food which we enjoyed. The setting is more attractive and much busier in summer but even when we went (on a very cold February day) the food was good and the service helpful.

This is a very upmarket and expensive restaurant set in a beautiful location. The menu is very inventive and all the food is cooked and presented to perfection. We enjoyed the pork dish, with its little potato lighthouses and the soufflé was beautifully cooked and had an unusual combination of flavours. Staff are attentive and efficient, although there is a touch of the "cathedral of food" atmosphere.

A faultless meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary - a little glass of intense asparagus soup as an intro, then a 'tartelette fine' of smoked salmon and sweetbreads with polenta as starters followed by perfect steak Rossini (with a generous piece of foie gras on top) and a hunk of boneless rabbit stuffed with confit tomatoes and thyme. The plate of six tiny puddings we both opted for was the best we've had. Our bottle of Parcé Frères 100% Grenache from Collioure was everything the write up on the excellent wine list promised.Service was efficient, friendly and fun despite the staff having to cope with a full house.Total bill â¬133.50 including a cocktail, fizzy water and coffee. Not cheap but worth every centime. We've booked to go back with friends next Saturday.

Lovely food. Comfortable, casual service. Very French. Nice choice of food, " cafe gourmand" dessert particularly good.

A regular haunt when visiting Prades. Cathy and David provide a friendly and informal place to eat with creative dishes and ideas - their Gazpacho soup is excellent

Nom and nom and nom. First visit for many years. Change of decor, change of layout. Nom, nom, nom. excellent food, reasonable priced wines. Beautiful presentation. A smile would have been nice and perhaps serving all the ladies first, might be my main criticism if a bit picky. ( But that would've given 5 stars from me) Flavours delicate and well balanced, best food in the area by a long way. Will try at lunch next week. Evening service on a midweek had 20 customers. Grades has at last somewhere to eat fine food.
