We came here because it was recommended. My steak was so tough that my husband was tired of waiting, and cut it into little pieces for me. The service was somewhat slow. The house wine not as good as other French restaurants.

A family meal for six of us proved to be a very enjoyable experience not least because the children's menu was proper food at a very fair price. Staff were friendly and helpful and let us move indoors on a very hot night. The29 euro 'formule' offered a wide choice and was good value with an interesting 'amuse bouche' Salmon, Brochette de Poulet, chorizo, and rognons were all much enjoyed and desserts were much appreciated - I recall an orange sorbet swimming in Cointreau!

I suspect Quai 23 doesn't see many British visitors, but if you find yourself in Millau (whatever your nationality) you could do a lot worse than eat here. The food was superb, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced for the quality. And whilst the staff didn't speak a lot of English (though more than we do French!), they made us very welcome and did their best to guide us through the menu. Millau may best be known for it's bridge (and it is pretty spectacular), but make time for dinner at Quai 23 - you don't regret it. Merci :-)

Every course at this restaurant was full of flavours that complemented each other. The starter of salmon with a horseradish cream on crushed biscuit was delicious as was the main course of haddock meuniere. The vegetables that arrived with the main course were interesting with spices and herbs that perfectly blended with the entire plate. Desert trolley offered good choice. Can recommend.

Located in the old center of Millau, the Jeu de Paume restaurant. Enjoy grilled meat on the fire, fish a la plancha. Relax around a glass of wine in surroundings that evoke the architecture of the past. Patio open during the summer. Located in Aveyron, 12
Wonderful salmon starter and cut of beef for the main course. Dessert too, with the 29 Euros menu. Superb service. An amazing atmosphere in an ancient, restored building. Obviously popular with locals. The highest recommendation. I love the outdoor dining, but the cellar and open fire are lovely, also.

We were so pleased to have found Le Cosy tucked down its quiet side street.I must begin by saying that the waiter was outstanding, working under real pressure but so friendly and thoughtful to everyone. The 24 euro 'formule' was really good value, beautifully cooked and well presented. I had Carpaccio of beef followed by Saucisse de Genievre, my wife a Goat's cheese salad followed by excellent beef. We were both then delighted with the Café Gourmand

Far and away the best restaurant in Millau we found on our travels. Tremendous service by the busy busy staff. Great location on one of the main squares. Interesting choices. We had butternut squash soup, terrains, gravalax, flank steak, raw tuna and pasta and beef in red wine sauce. All superb.

Loved this restaurant......my burger (classic) was superb. Service was very slow, but it was August, but more than made up for by the quality of the meal......a must!

Returning from a long journey of more than fifteen years on islands overseas, after Estanco Mamoudzou on the island of Mayotte and Saint-Pierre on the island of Reunion, I decided I moved to Millau at the foot of this magnificent viaduct on the lands of A
Our friend recommended Estanco for us after several visits - we had high expectations. The service was excellent, very kind and relaxed at the same time. Atmosphere - good. Samosas as a starter - very tasty. But unfortunately main course, mixed fish food portion, was a disappointment. It was lacking freshness and wasn't tasty. Ingredients good. Thats why 3 for the meal. The wine list looked very good, as well as the menu. And yes. We will give them another chance.

Restaurant and Café / non stop service : salads, toasts sandwiches, drinks, ice-creams cocktails,
By chance, we chose to eat lunch at Cafetino in Millau. We selected the formule dolce from the menu, which it said included a tostini sandwich, side salad, soft drink and desert. When the generously portioned meal arrived there was also a bowl of soup - all for 14.50â¬. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and also the pleasant service. We would be happy to eat lunch there again.
