I've visited this restaurant at least twice.it is located in front to the small and very nice port of Mèze.if you like local seafood, fresh fish and soups fish-made this is the ideal rest during your trip.not too wide menu, however the quality and the service-to-table is really at the top level.prices not cheap but in line with the outstanding experience offered

The restaurant looks a bit average at first glance, but come inside (or take to the covered terrace) and you will fine good food at very reasonable prices and a nice ambience. This is a family run restaurant but none the worse for that. Excellent seafood of all types plus extremely good pizzas if you're not into seafood. Also good wines at affordable prices. Great place to watch the boats in the harbour and relax.

We travel to Meze by boat and having explored the port thoroughly, we walked five minutes into the market square and found this new, exceptional lunch (and maybe some evenings) experience. We ordered the plat d' jour and a salmon salad, and wow, were we surprised. First came a mis en bouche, a short glass with three layers, pesto, brandade de moreau, and the bottom layer was a red pepper tapenade. Our plat included grilled tuna, mackeral and seiche served with a cream of cauliflower coulis, roasted onions, carrots and potatoes. The salmon was drizzled with delicate green olive oil and fresh orange and grapefruit segments and their juices. accompanied by a quinoa terrine of chopped veggies, fresh herbs and a delicate marinate topped with fresh pesto and generous shavings of parmesan cheese. The flavors and textures were devine! we decided to order a starter of Bouzique oysters and watched the chef walk to the covered market and buy them direct from the producer. They were fresh, plump and divine. We are unabashed foodies and this great place is such a find, by far the best meal we have ever had in Meze. Plus it was a great value, lunch for two including wine and the oysters was 30 euros!

Hungry from driving on a road trip from Barcelona through France , looking for somewhere to stop for food, we came across this great spot. Nothing fancy, but fresh seafood and courteous service. Oh and they have take out in case you want to bring home a great box of oysters. Will definitely come back next time I drive by.

We stayed in the hotel and took some friends to dinner here who have been in France for several months, they indicated that this was the best meal they have had, and we agreed. The hotel prides itself on local sourcing and offers a good menu range (although I personally would have liked to see more shellfish).Dishes arrived in good time and were well served with full explanation, using terrific, fresh ingredients based on availability. The wine list featured mainly local wines and was well explored, despite this the meal was a very reasonable price. If you are in Meze or the surroundings, highly recommend a visit

What we love about Sète is its unpretentiousness. It is NOT "cute". Rather, it is still an authentic, working fishing port. Thus, while all of the canalside restaurants are in the tourist trade, they haven't transformed the place into something ridiculously twee. We had put Delices de Jade on our list of possible lunch restaurants, and when our hotel recommended it, we felt even better about it. It was December 21, and it was warm enough not only to eat outside, but to do so in a T-shirt and jeans -- I would have worn shorts had I been prepared. So I have no idea what the place is like inside. The owner and the staff are really extremely friendly and welcoming. I decided to go the whole hog: A Sètoise thing called a tielle, which is a kind of octopus pie. I don't know what the best version of a tielle should be like, but I think that Delices de Jade's version is probably only pretty good, though its accompanying salad was very good. I also had 6 oysters on the side which were quite good though they could have been more chilled. As a main dish I had the bourride de lotte, which was fantastic. I thought I could squeeze dessert in, but, as in all restaurants in France, the dessert portion was enormous: an excellent pear-and-chocolate clafoutis with three huge dollops of chantilly on the side. The 3-course menu was 27 euros, plus 9 for the oysters a la carte, plus 4 for a draft beer. So 40 euros total. I think that's pretty darn good. We'd try Delices de Jade again the next time we're in Sète.

We were a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 teenagers. With 1 vegetarian and a teenager who doesn't like meat. The 3 non vegaterians had a fabulous dinner. 2 had steak another had fish. The two veggie settled for a vegetarian starter, which was fairly nice and a good size. The deserts were SO good!!I would rate it 5 for the non veggie people in our party, but a 3 for the vegetarians.I would definitely return if I'm back in Pezenas!
