Based on the nice reviews we visited this place, we enjoyed every bit of it, beyond expectations. A nice lunch with mussels for starters and mackerel as a main. Truly Mediterranean, don't look any further just go there. We truly enjoyed it! Great service, casual place and amazing food.

I stumbled across this new small restaurant in a quiet back street in the centre of town. Service and welcome was spot on and the food delicious - talented young chef working with only fresh produce. He deserves to make a success of this so please do go and support them as there are so few decent restaurants in La Grande Motte.

This is one of those areas that tripadvisor suckers you in because this is not really a restaurant. The sell seafood. A lot of seafood. And you can sit down and eat it. And get a glass or two of wine. But if you don't want seafood, then you have come to the wrong place. The basic dish is a seafood platter for two to share: 12 oysters, six langoustine; 6 whelks; a couple of tiny (inedible) crabs; 6 (very poor) mussels; a few cockles; some lemon and aioli sauce. But thats it. You can have other dishes, but they will be just some of the above. And it is all cold.It is a reasonable place for lunch but this is NOT A RESTAURANT.

The restaurant is located on the edge of another restaurant, and is surrounded by clear plastic rollup curtains...there are maybe 8 or 10 tables at most in a very confined space...everything being of plastic picnic type. Although the owner and staff were very friendly, it was obvious that many of the food components were pre-made and not fresh!! As food seemed to be dry and lacking in flavor. We did not try the Russian specialties, saw a few being served which did not appear to be impressive, but we had a mixed seafood special of the evening, which was very very lackluster and conservative in quantitiesor quality....very commercial and not real fresh. The Marmite of seafood waspetite and not that good at all...the other side bowl of orange something??was curious and not good. The Grand Salad Gourmand that one person had, was a bit sparse also on its contents, and not the best we have had at other restaurants. Our dessert which was supposed to be a Crème Caramel, was a curiouspile of whipped cream in the middle of the bowl, surrounded by a commercialcaramel sauce out of the jar, with a few nuts sprinkled on top....what exactlywas this??? not a Crème Caramel that we are accustomed to being served!!The non existent ambience certainly did not line up with the price of themeals....I would not recommend this place....we have dined in restaurants throughout the Grande Motte for several years, and this one is far from beingat the top of the "best" list. We are very surprised at the glowing reviews andI am suspect of the reviewers experiences in fine dining????

Local red wine, brought immediately, was very good. The tapas came first in 20 minutes, but they were worth waiting. We especially liked the gratinated mussels and vegetable chips. And we also appreciated the fact, that the owner stopped us from ordering more, because the portions, that they serve are not the smallest.
