The team of the Restaurant Pizzeria Le saint Pierre welcomes you in the heart of the old town of Gaillac,a village built up around the wine industry, 15 minutes from Albi. Our homemade pizzas, made from Italien flour, slowly matured, baked in a wood oven,
We often go in as a large family and the waitress ALWAYS has something kind to say, the chef gives his salut and we're seated. The kids love the pizzas and fries, we love the salads and everyone enjoys desserts made a la maison. We enjoy going for lunch or dinner. Also, they just redecorated!

Stopped there for a quick lunch and didn't really know what to expect from that restaurant. The place was crowded which is always a very good sign when you see that many local people. The choice of food was quite interesting and the formulas as well. Starter, main course and dessert including 25Cl of local wine for less than 15 Euros. The service was quick, efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. The whole place is decorated with rugby shirts, scarves and flags from all over the world so I suppose the atmosphere must be great when there is a match on.I think we were quite Lucky to find such a place.

Restauration traditionnelle, plancha. Spécialités de viandes et poissons grillés. Belle terrasse ombragée avec bassin, en partie couverte. Salle de séminaires pour groupe jusquâà 80 personnes. Parking privatif de 150 places.
Crammed masses more tables in and moved bar to near the entrance. Fairly grumpy rugby type lads on reception which goes with the place considering the patron's previous life. Open plan kitchen, harsh lighting, uncomfortable seating. Food is substantial with a decent wine list. As before it's not a bad place to go with a group of close friends. Atmosphere is sub zero as in cold not cool. It's very different from what is available locally and I suppose if you want the French version of an American diner it may fit. As before facelift, lunch is better.

Delicious food from quite an extensive menu. The deserts won the day for inventiveness and taste. The only niggle we had was the abruptness of the waiter. Maybe he was having a bad day? It made us somewhat uncomfortable. We felt that in general there was not a welcoming feel to La Verrerie apart from one or two of the staff. Shame when the food was so good.Dear Sir or Madame,Thank you for four coment. Please accept our apologies for the unease and abruptness of the waiter you felt during your dinner. We hope this will not stop you for coming again to La Verrerie.Best regards,

We arrived after 1pm, a time when we have often been turned away by other establishments in France! Although the restaurant was busy we were able to find a suitable table. The menu is written on the place mat, apart from the dish of the day which is on the high tec display board. My dish of the day, mild chicken curry (in coconut milk sauce) with basmati rice was excellent and my husband and our friend both enjoyed their omelettes, served with copious salad & chips. Desserts & coffee followed. Serving staff were friendly and we would certainly come back next time in the area.

Wine Bistro featuring Organic Wines
Menu du Midi was perfect, excellent value for 17 euro for 3 courses. We shared an entree and dessert and ordered individual mains (14 euro per person). All dishes were freshly prepared, nicely presented and very enjoyable. The bread was divine, fresh rather than the stale bread that other places offer. Service was friendly, helpful and efficient.Restaurant was clean and comfortable. When ordering a glass of house wine the waiter asked if we preferred soft or strong. My wife ordered soft and I ordered strong (both local Gaillac wine). The wine was wonderful.Recommend for lunch.

This restaurant never fails. We have been several times and the food is always wonderful, perfectly prepared and beautifully served. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is always good, cosy in winter, cool and airy in summer, with a choice to eat inside or out. Order your meal and let the waiter choose the most appropriate wine to compliment it. This is definitely one of our favourite restaurants.

I have reviewed this restaurant a few years ago but sometimes restaurants change and so do standards. I just had to review again! This restaurant's standards are still consistently high. (We visited three times in two weeks on this holiday) The food is excellent - delicious and exciting. Everyone is welcoming and helpful explaining the french food to us when our french wasn't up to it. The desserts are delicious!

Really great tapas restaurant......make sure you book, it is incredibly popular and no wonder, the food is delicious, very quick service, lovely staff and good value. We had about 9 different dishes, beers, kids drinks, 2 desserts and only 70euros. Good atmosphere too.

We had come to Gaillac for the first time to visit the festival des lanternes and were looking for somewhere to eat. It was a Saturday evening and we hadn't booked so we're delighted to find a table for two available immediately. The service was efficient and cheerful. Our food arrived promptly despite how busy the restaurant was. The staff kept their smiles as they welcomed ever increasing numbers of tourists looking for a meal. We were impressed at their unceasing good will and hard work. A lovely end to our day.
