I love this place. Fabulous food and impeccable service. The perfect place for a bit of a splurge. Have had lunch there 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months and will continue to do so. One caveat... best to avoid peak weekends as when full, the kitchen tends to get a bit overwhelmed.

I just visit this restaurant, they only offer poor options of pasta. Spaghetti Bolognese is super salty and lack of flavor.
Regarding the service, waiters are ok but the Captain runs with a lack of responsibility and no commitment of Customer care.
We ask for a special requirement and waiter said the it was needed the Capitain authorization. This Capitain never take that seriously and he just walking around and talking/chating with cuisine staff giving the impression that he was just playing around bisides Taking Care of Customers.
If you only Care about being in a good decorating restaurant and don't care about taste and food quality and service, maybe is ok for you.
Think twice after choosing this place.

This is a great pozole place to go to. The red chicken or pork pozole are so good you want to come back here every night! I've gone to this place four times in one week! The place is located in downtown Oaxtepec, right across a pharmacy, so it's very convenient. There is another pozole place in the same shopping block but this one is way better! The service is quick and excellent and the food is cheap! This place is only open late in the afternoon - late night I think, like most pozole restaurants are. Make sure you stop by here if you are in the area!

We weren't sure about his place at first. It doesn't seem like much from the outside. But once you walk through the gate, you are surprised by this beautiful garden. Tables are placed all around it shaded by lemon trees, avocado trees or orange trees. So the smell of the place is naturally great. Servivce is very nice and the food was great. We had breakfast there but lunch seems to be just as good. It's one of the few places that take credit cards. I recomend it.

Llegábamos a Tlayacapan un poco perdidos y con hambre, este lugar nos acogió con deliciosa comida, ambiente relajado y familiar y cordial atención. Espectaculares chilaquiles con cecina!!!

We've been here various times for breakfast and midday comida. Everything has always been delicious. The midday menu is a wonderful opportunity to taste real Mexican home cooking with the niceties of courses and flavors and ingredients of the region. It changes daily, but always tasty and diverse. The service is friendly and environment is like having lunch on your neighbor's Terrace. Hidden in a residential area of old Oaxtepec houses it's a great space to relax and enjoy the food. I can't recommend this place more highly.

Great discovery in the centre of Tlayacapan right next to the cerería. Diverse menu that stretches from the Mexican classics through to Spanish tapas and pizzas/pasta - truly something for everyone's taste. We tried the cecina, arrachera and the sopa de tortilla and all were delicious - it's obvious that the owners take care over the quality of the food and it's presentation. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the dishes. They also boast more than 60 Mexican craft beers, and a wide selection of tequilas and mezcales, with some of the latter available "a granel", that's to say, from small barrels. They have Tobalá, Espadin, Madre Cuixe, all excellent.
We ate in the afternoon, but chatting to the owner he told me they have regular events in the evenings, from live music to theme nights, and information on these can be found updated on their Facebook page. There is a Terrace outside for al fresco dining (bring a thick sweater as the temperature plummets at night) and tables inside for a more intimate ambience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be returning, the combination of tasty well-prepared food, decent beer and mezcal would be a winning combination in any Mexican town or city, but to stumble across this place in the centre of Tlayacapan was our best surprise of the Christmas holidays. We haven't been very often to this town, but we'll surely be returning more frequently from now on.

Food. For the breakfast there's a buffet, it is limited in options and plates quality is poor, from few flavor, some salty and they run out of some products even more people is just coming in to have breakfast and they do not replenish. Here is where I have tried the word pan dulce, hard without flavor.
Service is average without attention in details.
View from terraza is the best.
At the end they offer a rode in calandria, nice detail. They can be better for the price.
