Who would have thought that you can get a great Italian meal in a small Mexican Village. Our first nigh there I had the gnocchi and my girlfriend had lasagna. The gnocchi were huge but very tender with a very flavorful Bolognese. Iâm always cautious about ordering lasagna as it sometimes can have the size of a wedding cake and the density of clay. However, this serving was no more than 2 inches thick and very light. The combinations of meat, sauce and cheeses was perfect and very complimentary. All of the pastas are made on the premises and you can really taste the difference. Service is very good but if yiu sit on the second floor it may be a little slow but well worth the wait
Tried a pizza; their prices were very fair, some of the best in town for pizzas. They have a good pizza oven; i found the edge of the crust a bit thick for my liking but the toppings area was nice and thin, great flavours in their sauce. Very good pizza, and the service was impeccable, very attentive and polite.
Respect for the flavors, ingredients and cooking techniques, a good kitchen and bar, excellent quality and good service.
Went there for the first time last night... it was deliciously great! The ribs were meaty and sooo tasty! We will be going back soon. Our waitress was spot on. Attentive, not overbearing. Wonderful food and service. Nice to have another Zipo fav! It is across from Don de Franco's on the main street.

Bacco occupies the former site of PachaMama, on the corner opposite Giorgio's and El Mare. The site has been tastefully re-decorated. The new restaurant has been well received by the tourist crowd and is usually very busy. Go early to have a choice of tables. The menu has remained almost identical to PachaMama and I was pleased to find that the arrachera is still moist, tender and flavourful. All the grilled meats are served with sides of roasted vegetables. On our last visit, I had the daily special, a filet mignon in mushroom sauce. The filet was a generous piece of meat, cooked to my specification. Other friends enjoyed the jicama salad and various other choices from the menu. Service is friendly and efficient.
After trying a few different places for coffee and breakfast, we found Cafe del Mar near the beginning of town, and it immediately became our favorite. Clean and cozy, relaxing vibe, better prices, and, most importantly, the best coffee we came across! Esteban and his staff were always warm and welcoming and we had som great chats with him. Awesome coffee, tasty food, friendly people, an eye for style and a good customer oriented business sense all made this place stand out.
Below the exotic trees, the wiffs landing on your nostril will lead you directly inside the Pizzeria. It's owner, Simone, spins dough so effortlessly, that you know he is a professional. The taste of the dough, be it in a focaccia, pizza or calzone was very different to anything I've tasted. Calzones are large, yet I found myself guarding mine entirely! Don't share! Get one for each diner!!Your body witll appreciate each bite, since every part of the calzone tastes different. You can always swim the calories off in the morning.

Stoped in here for dinner after a long touring day in Puerto Escondido (4 of us). Place was busy, and we were told we had next table, yet 2 sat empty the whole time and others were sat before us. Finally chose to sit with some other people after waiting 45 mins. We went to order and were told only one chef showed up so best we order pizza as that was going out fast. So we did. Pizza was really good. Service left alot to be desired. However, margaritis were great. lol.Hi Smarties. It´s been a long time but do you think it's still time to accept our apologies? We are so sorry it wasn´t a better expirence for you and your partty, We are looking forward to serving you again when you get back to Zipolite.Irma

Were able to grab a table for two amongst many reservations and waiting bigger groups (worth making a reservation). Octopus pasta was outstanding, chipotle-spiced pasta was good but not great. Choice of red wine by the glass of Chilean Carmenere or Italian Montepulciano; of which the montepulciano was nice if not slightly overpriced. Tiramisu dessert was excellent. Would definitely go back.

This restaurant is located at a semi-private beach with views to the sea and beautiful rock formations. The food is delicious and, at night, dinners are specially lovely given the setting.

The Resraurant offers a nice and romantic atmosphere for a couple but the food was a real disappointment. Furthermore, the prices are higher than expected (mostly for cocktails, small glasses and was bad preparation). In general it is not worthy to spend your time and money in this place.
