Stop in one of the hotels near the beach for a drink or take the family horseback riding. A small freshwater lagoon at the mouth of the river, Rio Rigadillo, marks the border with Playa Marinero, which has waves suitable for beginning surfers. I stayed much longer than planned... Two weeks longer. Generally, that's a good sign... Loved my room--AC and kitchen and great view!--and the cafe and pool are great. If it's expensive by local standards (but still a great value), it's worth it. Loved my stay here!

A superfind of a small juice/coffee/food shop just up the street from where we stay. We returned each day we were there for one month. Fantastic. Excellent selection of coffee, some pastries freshly made each day, and selection of more substantial food. Of course, great selection of fabulously refreshing juice drinks. Great prices. Sit just outside the little shop and enjoy the ocean breeze. Canât recommend this place highly enough. Matt and Estrella are unbeatable. English, Spanish, German and French spoken....

Ate in the back garden and enjoyed the ambiance, the customer service and the delicious coffee and food. They can accommodate with some vegetarian and gluten free options which was much appreciated. Recommend as a lovely hidden spot to enjoy a coffee and breakfast, brunch or dinner.

We stayed at Frutas y Verduras for a week so ate here lots! Every breakfast and quite a few lunches. The portions are big and the food is very good - simple and wholesome and so cheap! Not so much for vegans but great for veggies. The best coffee by far that we had all over Mexico and possibly back home in England! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu is in english which is great for non Spanish speaking!

In Mexico, restaurants are changing places. But this restaurant connected with accommodation. And they don't change place long long time. Don't be late. They do close earlier than you think. They have hamburgers. Same kind of food as Cafe Chito. This locate 2 blocks back from Agua Luna. Kind of hill top at famouse big wave Zicatela beach. Hard to find first time.
