Its name comes from the expression of joy used in the region of the Istmo de Tehuantepec, which means, “What a Blessing!”, same feeling that lives in us when we have the privilege of being selected by our guests to host their stay. We have the mission to provide total satisfaction to our guests, along with a memorable experience that is distinguished by customer service & personalized attention.
I literally checked out a couple hours ago and needed to write a review of how amazing the staff is in this hotel. Every single person goes above and beyond for their guest. They always offered us a water, checked in how we were doing, and helped us get a guide to visit monte alba. The hotel itself is beautiful and nicely decorated. The rooms are comfy and great. The breakfast is very good, it consist of fruits, sweet bread, and your choice of coffee/ juice. Anything additional you pay for. The location of the hotel is very centrical and close to great restaurants and city center. Overall, this hotel was amazing and the highlight was hands down the staff. They make you feel right at home and made my first trip to Oaxaca unforgettable- thank you to everyone at nanavida!!! I’ll be back soon!

The hotel is amazing. It has a magical air to it and the people who work there are very nice and polite. I’d totally recommend it! A great kind of boutique cozy experience in Oaxaca. I loved that it’s profits are aimed to help children in Mexico get proper education. It literally is a hotel with a big heart.

We ended up staying here kind of on accident. We were in town on business and had stayed at a very small boutique property that left a bit to be desired. Anyway, we had to rearrange our flights that found us staying an additional night in Oaxaca. The previous property was already booked and I didn’t really want to go back regardless. So, we booked this property, but didn’t spend a lot of time there as our new flight was the next morning. The staff was great…very helpful at valet and helping direct to wherever we needed to go. They were also able to get us COVID testing in our room at the last minute when the tests we had brought with us didn’t work out. Very clean rooms, good A/C, big bathroom. And, the club level was also great.

My wife & I stayed at Quinta Real for 4 nights. The staff was very friendly, helpful and top notch. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times, and the service was top-notch and very attentive. We loved the old world charm of the property and it was very well manicured and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Marialicia Suites its located on an exceptional place, near to the main square, and the principal avenues, with 10 confortable suites and 1 standard room (petite) per 1 person. You will be surprise at your arrival!!!
What a cute boutique hotel! The grounds are beautiful and well kept...and quiet. It's like a peaceful, zen, private escape from the city. Oaxaca is beautiful, but it is hot, bustling, and we did a lot of walking, so it felt great to come back to a spotlessly clean, quiet, cool, comfy hotel room at the end of the day. The staff are super friendly and helpful...they helped recommended some amazing restaurants. I can't say enough good things about this hotel...it was the cherry on top of our incredible Oaxaca trip. Stay here!

With a privileged location, 20 minutes from the airport. In the historical downtown area, only a half block from the Central Alameda. The beautiful colonial-style building has three floors with 23 rooms, including four suites.Located on one of the main avenues in the city, the facade had a grand entry door of carved cedar, opening to a lovely porch with a statue of St. Michael the Archangel.A wrought iron gate opens to the hotel vestibule, where walls of ochre, terra-cotta, beige and cream combine with dark green ironwork and green granite columns to provide a dramatic backdrop for the brilliant bougainvillea and geraniums that thrive in the home's central patio. From here you can catch a hint of the spellbinding flavors of our Oaxacan kitchen. In "La Cocina" you can choose a magical dish to your specifications.Small gardens lead to the first level rooms. A majestic green granite stairway crowned with glorious stained glass leads to the second and third levels. On the second level terrace, you could relax or sunbathe accompanied by canaries in a kaleidoscope of multicolored flowers.
Stayed here for both business and personal travel - very clean and good location. Food at restaurant was great. Staff was very helpful and attentive especially with getting COVID tests and setting up tours.

Casa Antonieta is characterized for being a unique & peaceful place, combining the simplicity and hospitality of a Oaxacan home with the attention and quality of a modern hotel. Ideal to disconnect from everyday life, stop time and enjoy every moment. The architectural beauty of Casa Antonieta is of great importance to us. When entering the house, the first thing you will notice is the large columns that support the entire building. The perfect symmetry of the arches that surround the beautiful courtyard which allow the flow of air and light creating a fresh and peaceful atmosphere. It is a common area, where you can spend time having a cup of coffee from our own Muss Cafe while you plan your next trip, sit down, relax, have a chat, share your stories with us or with other travelers like yourself.
What a beautifully designed and put together space Casa Antonieta is. This private boutique hotel was the perfect place for our stay in Oaxaca. We where welcomed with such professionalism and care after a long flight, always found solutions to our every inquiry and greeted every day as if it was our first by the impeccable team. The food and cocktails are fresh and tasty, the hotel guest happy hour on the rooftop terrace was most welcomed after long discovery days & truly we felt like Casa Antonieta quickly became a home away from home.

This is one of the friendliest places I've ever stayed. The building itself is beautiful and comfortable and I seriously don't think I've ever been treated better by a staff anywhere I've ever stayed. The breakfast and kitchen are quite nice and the staff was really helpful with info about the city. Stay here.
