Since 1978, Fairfax City's most popular restaurant. Enjoy boathouse favorites surrounded by handcrafted wooden boat scale models and Jack Gable's view of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Located in an aging shopping center in Fairfax, Artie's is a member of the excellent American Restaurant Group which includes Coastal Flats and Sweet waters. Reservations are a good idea because even at lunch on a midweek day the restaurant was very busy. The menu is diverse with accommodation for gluten allergies. Husband had a delicious pasta and my fresh sea bass with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus was perfectly prepared.

Luciano Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria has been serving Northern Virginia since 1973; serving Oakton since 1995! Our concept is simple. We serve fresh Southern Italian food with real homemade flavor. We make our bread from scratch and bake it four times a day. We knead our own pizza dough every afternoon. We make our own sausage by grinding fresh meat and stuffing the casing in-house. We create our own soups using fresh all-natural ingredients. We use Semolina spaghetti imported from Italy as well as make pasta fresh in-house. For those looking for a new experience in Italian cuisine we offer our "Daily Specials Menu" that contains new and seasonal entrees. But, if you are looking for old family favorites such as Spaghetti with Meatballs or Eggplant Parmigiana, made from our own family recipes, they are always available on our regular menu. Our goal is for you to experience "a taste of Italy in every bite."
Always a treat to visit Luciano's! Good trattoria style food and some of the best pizza I have had. Luciano's food offers up simple but yummy fare like Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti and meatballs, Stuffed Eggplant....and the most excellent "pie" - with a perfect crunchy crust and not too sweet red sauce. My personal favorite is the white cheese and garlic pizza (extra garlic of course). They also have a solid choice of mid range $ bottles of wine and an excellent and friendly staff. Manager Franco treats everyone like family and they pride themselves on making their customers feel that way. Mangia!

When we arrived the line was long, but the wait was worth it! Fast service & great tasting coffee. Will definitely visit when I return to the area!

....if I were a loving brother of his, I'd gently encourage him to bring in a consultant to "Do something about the #@& racket!" :) My guess is that there's a way to add some sound absorption and still retain the wonderful interior design. ----- I've seen other postings of the loud environment, so, business is so good that its not necessary/desirable to get the decibels down.......

My first experience at Duck Donuts was in Charlottesville, VA in October. When I returned to VA, I immediately located another in Fairfax for the most delicious donuts! I love being able to create my own donut and nothing beats eating a warm donut! Everyone must give them a try! Dear Duck Donuts-how about opening a location in CA? We could use you!

This is my new go to restaurant in Fairfax corner. Short wait for tables. The service was fast and efficient. The menu is mostly seafood but also offers meat selections steak, chicken and burger. I ordered the Hongkong style seabass and tasted delicious. I wish they offer non seafood items for appetizer.

Confused counter person, entered wrong order. Line took forever. Chicago gyro (beef and lamb) was just okay - definitely have had better. Will go to the full-service Greek place up the street next time.

Went because of reviews. Arrive around 5:30. Restaurant empty. Big screen tv (yuck), but nice decor. Good service. Food was beautiful to look at: I had Jungle Curry, my daughter had mix vegetables. Flavor was just ok; sauces were a bit too watery for my taste. Spring rolls were tasty if a little over-fried.

My husband and I stopped in at Fairfax Santini's for a quick lunch before going to Costco. While most people enjoy Cosco's food, we do not. So, walking into this clean bright Santini's, we were greeted by three or four workers who were eager to take our order. After looking at the extensive menu for a while, my husband finally decided upon a gyro and I ordered a BLT. For eight dollars, I was a little frustrated at the price.
However, when the BLT arrived 10 minutes later, it was stuffed full of bacon, shredded lettuce and just the right amount of tomato and mayo. My husband's gyro was equally good looking.
Well I'm not a big fan of eating off of Styrofoam plates and passing my own tables, 17 is easily a great place to stop otherwise.

Globally influenced American cuisine in the heart of Vienna, VA.
Interesting, quaint, good food, about the right pricing for the DC area. Staff was friendly but not overly so. Professional. The food was middle to small size portions. The taste was good but not great. I had the pork belly and a dessert which was also small. I have no complaints at all but they really did not wow me. My dining partners made no overt positive comments except for their fried apple pie dessert.
