Service was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. It certainly was busy. We all had the chicken platter. The portions were sizeable. The tzatziki, pita, and Greek salad that came with the meal were really delicious, and authentically Greek. The chicken and Spanish rice were underwhelming, and lacked flavour. All four of us got undercooked potatoes.

See & be seen on our totally tropical patio! Relax & let our fabulous staff serve you a freshly made mojito or chow down on one of our award-winning burgers.
It has been 10 YEARS since we have been to Rosie’s and we just picked up where we left off. I admit, I was a bit put off by the valet parking service when we first arrived, but I understand how this place can get packed on a busy night. We ended up going to Rosie’s 3 times during our 5 day stay. The burgers are awesome! Our first visit produced the birger with grits and a fried green tomato. On our last visit, I had the pizza hamburger. Both excellent! Bloody Marys were awesome as well. Vanessa was our favorite server. She was top notch in making us feel welcome, checking back on us and even noticed a small error on the kitchen’s part when the expeditor brought us our food. We couldn’t ask for better service. In fact we asked for her section on our final visit.
So glad Rosie’s is still alive and kicking. We will definately be back on our next trip to Lauderdale!

Yes, we are Italian! We do speak Italian and we make authentic Italian pizza and unbelievable Italian Gelato. Come to visit us and have a taste of Italy! Leonardo, Silvia and Giuseppe
Dolce Salato doesn't look like much when you walk in. The smiles and greetings we received when we entered were bigger than the place itself. There were a few tables jammed in the small space with some plastic chairs strewn among them. And it was meticulously clean.
However, we had misgivings. The by-the-slice offerings in the display case didn't look terribly appetizing. But based on the reviews we braved it. The girls ordered two slices of cheese, and I ordered a slice of margharita with a slice of fresh basil. And at approximately $3 for a good-sized slice (one was enough for each of us), it was worth a shot.
What came out was hands down the best pizza we have ever eaten. The crust was the perfect consistency, the sauce was fabulous and just the right amount. The buffalo mozzarella was tender, the basil was sweet, and my picky teenaged daughters were in raptures over the cheese pizza.
After such a culinary treat, we decided to try the gelato. My daughters each had the mint chocolate and loved the creamy texture of the gelato versus their usual ice cream. My normally chocoholic self decided to go with the more traditional lemon. I've never had better. (And a nice bonus: they were extremely generous with the servings).
The atmosphere might not be five-stars, but the pizza alone deserves that rating. The gelato was just the "ice"ing on the "pie"...

Artist Cindy Podgorski and I had passed this little hole-in-the-wall frequently. Always shunning it in our quest for a great taco. We finally stopped in and the quest is now complete!
A carne taco with taste (a first for me in these parts), Chorizo (for her) and a steak enchilada smothered in melted and mouth-watering cheese.
The chips so-so, the salsa divine (nice and spicy). Oh, and Coca-Cola from Mexico (in the glass bottle!)
Prices ridiculously reasonable. Can't wait to try more. Bear in mind, it's a little joint (perhaps more accustomed to take-out) but suited for a few diners. Nothing fancy mind you--not even close, but da bomb and Cindy hailing from Mexico knows from tacos, tamales et al...Try it!

I chose LDV because of the terrific reviews on TA but I found it disappointing. The grilled octopus appetizer was amazing but the mushroom risotto was so-so (lots of it but very bland). Same with the desserts. The service was also mixed; great attention at first but then a very long wait for our main and the check. Also, while we sat outdoors I noticed that the indoors was noisy and I'm glad we weren't seated there.
