Nice breakfast place, but the devil is in the details. Prices are fair, but I guess most people would gladly pay a little bit more for better quality ingredients. Locally sourced ingredients would definitely make a better experience. Instead of serving fake (fructuose) maple syrup they could use the real thing. Instead of commercial brands of coffee dairy creamer, butter, cookies, honey, jam, maybe try some locally sourced products. And no orange juice available? C'mon guys! You are forty miles away from Montemorelos.Service is good and the patio is simply the best.

Large restaurant serving true mexican food. Many large families dining. Staff was great, spoke English but it took a long time to get our food. Restaurant was very crowded but food was worth the wait, very good. Wait staff was working very hard to keep all very large tables, lot so people happy.

This review is for both Tinajita locations in Santiago. Hernan took over an hour to talk with me about sourcing and characteristics of his coffee beans. He is clearly passionate and highly educated about agriculture and coffee. The cafe is wonderfully decorated with charming touches everywhere, including mugs from all over the world hung from the ceiling beams by Hernan's wife Natalia. Thanks Yiru, it was a pleasure meeting you and an honour attending you at both of our Cafés!Very nice of you to read that we could be of assistance!Hope to see you soon!!
