Didnât realise Goodmanâs was a Russian chain until this visit, the waiter (Dimitri) was charming and friendly sharing much detail of his hobbies etc, but possibly most importantly the best food to choose, guiding us to a Rib Eye!! The steak was fabulous, as was the wine. Highly recommended

We were taken here by our local hosts, who recommended the place. It is situated in a beautiful tranquil forest, and is a typical log building. The decor inside is very nice, but I donât have enough knowledge to know if it is typically Siberian. We were treated to a range of Siberian delicacies, again on recommendation by our hosts. The food was well prepared, very well presented, and (to me as a visitor at least) a great culinary experience. The stroganini (shaved frozen raw fish) was an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed! We were presented with so many different tastes, all new to me, so it is difficult to pick any favorites. The atmosphere was cosy, the staff friendly (and probably well versed in English - but our host dis all the ordering, so I did not engage). Before this visit I have only heard about typical Siberian hospitality, but here I have experienced it! Again, I have no idea what the locals think, but for me as a visitor, it was really something to write home about!Highly recommended!

We stopped by after taking a walking tour of downtown Novosibirsk. There are many cafes in the area and this one is connected to the Pobeda movie theater. My companion had a Mojito for about $2.50 but margarita cost $7.50. It clearly pays to check the menu before ordering. Seemed a quiet family kind of place.
