My wife and I spent three nights here. Although we had been in the general Barolo area a few times before, this was the first time in Novello. If you like peace and quiet with friendly inhabitants, this is the place. In particular, we enjoyed our stay at L’Angolo di Rosina very much. The staff are super-friendly and helpful – mostly that means the manager, who seems to do a million different jobs efficiently. The room was clean, sufficiently large, and comfortable. It was nice to enjoy some quiet time on the terrace. Although our room was above the outside dining area, the noise died off by 11 PM. Breakfast is definitely better than what one commonly gets in Italy, where most people seem to care little about breakfast. When we are back in this area, I will definitely try to stay here again.

This family run place delighted us from the moment we stepped in. It’s easy to find along the main road to Dogliani, nested at the other side of Barolo hill, an easy 15 minutes drive. The ground is very well maintained and what we liked the most is the room modern look. Especially the bathroom was outstanding. We have visited couple others B&B in the area before and you usually get the grandma’s home feeling. This place was the opposite as everything looks so mint new, still not crashing with the countryside atmosphere. Very good job. Breakfast is pretty nice too with homemade cakes and typical continental selection. For the price, this place is a must

The Hotel Barbabuc, historical landmark of the food and wine of the Langa, is located in a prestigious environment in the center of the village of Novello. Bright and charming 9 rooms, in fresh Shabby-Chic style, are each equipped with a private bathroom, hair dryer, toiletries, tv, kettle and small selection of teas and coffee. The breakfast buffet with sweet and savory, with pastries and freshly baked bread, will brighten the start of your day.
My wife and I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is very clean and everything worked perfect. The hostess, Roxanne, is very helpful and pleasant and it was a big help that the staff speaks English. We definitely will come back.

Rosso di Sera is the perfect place to stay in the Barolo Area! The owners Marco and Roberta are lovely people who do everything to make you feel at home. The B&B is located in the Barolo hills which makes for beautiful views and perfect sunsets. During the day, the big pool is completely in the sun. In the evening the outdoor restaurant is really cosy. The food is even better. The quality of the food is amazing and for a really good price. Owner Marco can tell you everything about the wines to go with the dishes. Thank you Marco and Roberta for an unforgettable stay, we will come back!

In 2015 Cascina Baricalino becomes Casa Baricalino. Omar, young owner born and grown in Novello, decided to change his life by dedicating himself totally to the agriculture. He will be pleased to host You and introduce You the best Langa's traditions: from the tasting of the wines and the typical products to the active participation to the agricultural works.
We stopped at this wine shop which happens to be a B&B too. It was an unplanned visit. Their sign by the road caught my attention during our drive. We asked for a wine tasting and were warmly welcomed by the owner of the vineyard. We tasted different wines and were offered a tapas plate, which the children really loved. The wine is excellent and we bought quite some bottles. We believe a stay at the house must be very enjoyable. For us it was a pleasant surprise on our way to our destination in Liguria.

Top experience. Great service. It is definately a different experience in Nortern Italy. The one set menu, with the visit to the cellar for finding your own wine is special. The mood is set by the nice exterior, and the restaurant is like a beautiful cave almost. The two guys running the show gives you a great evening through intresting tastes and a great soundtrack in the background. Just go there

The Novello Castle is an original neo-Gothic building standing on the remains of a medieval area. Once it belonged to the "Del Carretto" marquisate and later to the "Oreglia" marquisate. Some of the original remains are still emerging from the old manor-house.
We stayed at this Gothic Old World Castle. Our anniversary spent there was amazing, eating local Piedmontese Italian food for dinners and breakfasts and wonderful spritz drinks and fine local wines, like Barbera, Nebiolo, and Barbaresco. The staff were totally attentive to guests, spoke English and Italian and offered a five-star experience all five nights there. The royal rooms carry you to a fantasy world of kingly times!

First of all, I didn't stay the night, I only went to Il Noccioleto for lunch with a group of friends. We all decided to try this place because of the amount of good reviews. The food was good and the wine selection was also acceptable, but I would be more generous in my critique if this place was not in the heart of Langhe. Some of my friends were really unhappy of the food, I enjoyed it but it is in the average quality of the other restaurants in the area. The staff was very nice and the scenic view is legit, but again il Noccioleto is not some kind of hidden gem waiting to be discovered, but more your average Langhe restaurant. Fair prices.
