My grand parents love this place. So I figured I'd pick up some chicken and bring it over. When I did it was a hit. The ladies in side were very friendlyI myself ordered a poutine with bacon and stuffing. And woahhh it was good. Pretty sure my head slowed down but it was worth it

Our favorite pizza. Anywhere. Not just Glace Bay. Flavorful sauce, chewy cheese, thin but not dry crust. Yum!
This restaurant has been a long time favorite for me and everyone I know. They have the best poutines- best known for their turkey and stuffing poutine (which is my personal favorite). All of their dishes are delicious and come in HUGE portions and have great value for your money. You can feed the whole family and you don't have to break the bank. The staff is friendly and love to see their customers smile. I would highly recommend eating here if you are ever in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia :-)

Restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Glace Bay's place to Take a Load Off!
We were greeted and promptly brought to our table! The decor has changed and improved. The menu has also changed with the new cook. Our meals were tasty but we waited for a very l-o-n-g time to receive our meals! The waiter was very pleasant but he had so many tables to deal with. The hostess (owner I was told) could have poured the water, checked on other beverages, etc. but she did nothing but sit up front after seating people.Helping with the above would have allowed the pleasant server to deal with delivery food.

The Glace Bay Chip Wagon has been a downtown tradition for several generations and a popular stop for both the young and old. The chips are made from fresh cut potatoes and perfectly cooked. If you're downtown they're just at the bridge. Order up a box of chips, season them the way you like and take a stroll along the wharf or up Commercial Street. If you'd rather not walk and eat just jump in your car and drive to a nearby spot and enjoy your snack with an ocean view. Either way it's an authentic Glace Bay experience!

Went there for break'fast recently. Food was great. Service was outstanding. The guy they call old glass jaw, Steven, was our waiter. He did an ultra great job. Keep up the good work.

The Miner's Village Restaurant is housed in a replica of a Coal Company house where many mining families lived their lives in the mining town of Glace Bay and surrounding areas. I grew up in a Company house very similar to the homes featured at the Miner's Village Restaurant and Museum.
