Eliot & Vine is a casual dining restaurant in the North end of Halifax. Our main dining room features banquette window seating, a marble bar, and a cozy atmosphere. The semi-private Frolic Room is great for more intimate evenings, with an exquisite mural
Iâve had a few dishes here, but the Brussels sprouts are what stands out....they are so very tasty. Iâve gone back a number of times and always have the sprouts. The service, atmosphere and food are terrific.Thank you for such a kind review, Liv! Our Brussel sprouts are certainly a fan favourite. Hopefully we'll see you again sometime to try something new!

Liz Ingram-Chambers brings you Le Bistro by Liz, where you will find a bit of old world French charm right in the heart of Halifax. A quaint, cozy full of life restaurant that features lots of Parisian cafe favorites, cooked in an open style kitchen. From
A group of us visited this establishment for dinner. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately with menus provided. Our server arrived shortly and took our beverage orders. Around the table we ordered the seafood crepes, coquilles st Jacques, fish&chips, bÅuf bourguignon and the nightâs special seafood frittata. While waiting for the meals we were provided with excellent fresh bread. The meals arrived in a reasonable time. Everyone enjoyed their meal but several commented on the few vegetables, 3 carrots, 4 beans as sides. A few more vegetables would be in ordered. I ordered the frittata special. It was not particularly tasty and I would not order it again. The service was great and we will return.Hello NS RoverThank you for your review we are so pleased you enjoyed everything and we will be sure to pump up our vegetables. Next time your in just ask for extra veggies just to make sureAll the best Liz

In the heart of Halifaxâs entertainment district lies a petit slice of Paris. Bistro le Coq pairs classic French comfort food with a large selection of fine wines in an atmosphere that canât help but charm. Classic hors dâoeuvres from escargot to Ocean Wi
After traveling around Newfoundland, we were eager to return to some serious cuisine and jumped at a French Bistro just a couple of blocks from our hotel. The restaurant lived up to expectations, with friendly servers, beautifully prepared and presented food, and a comfortable and well decorated dining room. I can recommend the smoked trout appetizer, the duck, and the halibut.
