I just get the combo with rice, chicken balls, sweet and sour ribs, and an egg roll. The place is quiet and quaint, and the service is ordinary, but I love the Canadian Chinese classics in this dish; washed down with a diet soda sold at a premium of course!

Okay. I have been here many times in the past but today was a very disappointing experience. The black haired woman we picked up our takeout with was both very rude and very insistent on making us leave as quick as possible however the other lady who was also at the desk was a little nicer but still rushing us to leave. Never have I been so upset to have my wife with me to witness such a terrible service. I will not return and I will be making sure others do not either.

Ko's Restaurant is one of the best Chinese/Canadian restaurants on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Located in the heart of the downtown core, Ko's serves food for anybody in the family. With a wide variety of options including, noodle dishes, rice dishes,
This is a Chinese restaurant in a small town. People order combination plates. They are ok and they are substantial. No small portions here but this isn't Chinatown in Toronto so don't expect the world. Now what they do well is:Singapore Noodle: Order it spicy. It's good and it will feed two people easily. The shrimp are small but there's plenty of chicken, bbq pork and veggies.Egg Rolls: If you like curried, meat egg rolls. You'll like these.General Tao Chicken: Order it spicy with a side of steamed rice. It's good.Ginger Beef: Order it crispy and spicy. It comes with rice. Plenty of ginger. You're on your own with the rest of the menu. Hit or miss. Oh, and my wife likes the wonton soup. Also, Angela is a good waitress. She has plenty of experience and doesn't suffer fools. Which I like.
