It is rare to enter a wine bar with so much attention to detail. The garden has been furnished from wine barrels to give it authenticity and character and it works. The choice of wines is always great and Arnaud, the owner always recommends something and so far it has never disappointed. He cares about every product in his bar and it shows. The choice of tapas is good and is a great accompaniment to the wines. A must in this lovely holiday destination.

Authentic, fresh tapas cooked to order in a busy open kitchen. Sit on the little decked terrace just yards from the beach and enjoy their sangria (with a kick) and great rioja. Very friendly and relaxed, we ordered a few dishes and were told we could eat them and just keep ordering more as we felt like it. The gambas were SO fresh and sweet. Very family friendly and full of regulars. Three of us ate our fill with sangria and rioja for under 60 euros. Will go again next time we are in the area.

We visited Lopez city as we were looking for an alternative restaurant, with its funky styling and Latin American menu (and the fact that it always has a massive queue out the front) we gave it a try. I had the langoustines and my Father and Sister had the Argentinian Steak. both were FANTASTIC and reasonably priced for a tourist trap (under â¬18 ea) the portions were a good size and the food tasted fresh. My wife's dinner however (tex mex) did not arrive until we had chased it twice and we had all finished eating. That said, the tex mex was removed from the final bill as way of apology. I would certainly eat here again, the cocktails were great value at â¬6 for a big (pint sized) glass!
