Really good food, fairly priced, interesting choices all 3 times visited. The chicken with creamy spiced sauce with quinoa was delicious. So was the beef with pasta. Open all year round. Well worth seeking out. Lovely garden at the back and often has live music. Could be warmer if youâre sitting at the back of the room in winter next to the glass doors-but if youâre visiting in Summer this wonât be an issue. A lovely place.

Busy brasserie which is clearly liked and good for families. My wife's Caesar salad was unlike any Caesar we've seen, and topped with a fried egg. It was quite tasty nonetheless but definitely not a Caesar salad! Mine was a mixture of fish - adequate but overcooked and missing the promised salmon. We cancelled the wine in the end as after three requests it still hadn't arrived and we'd finished our meal. A bit slapdash - bread and water dropped on floor by waitress - but quite jolly. No one seemed very concerned about getting it right - and even paying was hard as the barman was more interested in chatting than serving.

Bar , restaurant, glacier et crêpes sucrées à l'heure du goûter Notre Philosophie : produits frais & fait maison. Cuisine simple avec des produits frais. Nous privilégions les circuits courts : notre poissonnier est local, les fruits et légumes de saison
Originally ate at this restaurant as the burger offerings caught our eye, having eaten moules and other fish for the majority of our stay at Boyardville. Both the fish burger and the beef burger were excellent, with just the right amount of tasty chips and salad accompanying. Cafe gourmand afterwards was delicious. After looking around the other restaurants in the harbour we decided to go back another evening and chose the moules in blue cheese- so tasty..The service was quick, friendly, in nice surroundings( we are inside) and overall very good value for money

Finding most places closed on a Sunday lunchtime in February, this was a hidden and unexpected gem. Although signing itself as a Creperie, it is much more than that with a wide range of French and tropical foods. It is in a mostly residential area, away from the harbour and its apparently (from their TA reviews) awful tourist-trap restaurants. The decor reflects the Caribbean/African ambience, and there is an outside seating area. there were a good number of diners for February out of season.6 of us ate a wide range, of starters and some lovely main courses, with a superb fish risotto, 4 having a great magret of duck and me a tasty tender entrecote steak. The chef cooks within view and all was well presented and served in a most friendly and helpful manner especially when the dishes on the menu beat my 55 year old French "O" level!A great thank you to our waitress. We did quaff a fair bit of wine and beer, but the bill still came out at a very reasonable 179 Euros, about £22 each, so good value. This restaurant has not been listed as being in St Denis, which it is, just "Ile d'Oleron", so I have advised TripAdvisor of the correct address..
