Hi everybody, our restaurant is on the Town center of Bidart, since 1945. It is possible to eat and drink all the year and every day! See you later :-)
The croissants were great but they did not have fresh orange juice. The bread in the jam/butter set was a bit stale and chewy. It is a simple but well-located place to sit on the plaza and have the kids play nearby.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while driving from Biarritz to San Sebastian. It's set right on a beach that surfers use. We had mussels. Very good and reasonably priced as was the chilled bottle of white wine. Would go again if in the vicinity.Suggest you don't sit too near to the beach edge of the outdoor area as you can attract lots of sand flies.

Not really expecting much on a cool January Monday afternoon, but once inside we loved it. Good friendly service, fine range of drinks and an interesting menu. We chose some tapas, including fabulous delicate pork charcuterie, a brilliant fried egg with cheese and ham mini sandwiches (similar to soldiers for those Brits who know what these are) to dip into the lovely soft yoke. Best of all was the Chipirones a la Plancha, wonderfully tasty...It's in a good location a minute from the sea and has lots of atmosphere. Recommended very highly.

Sur la place du village , le bar / restaurant vous accueille tous les jours pour un petit déjeuner , déjeuner ou dîner , vous apprécierez aussi de vous retrouver entre amis autour d'un apéritif tapas . Cuisine locale Parking à proximité
The service their was bad, our waiter left in the middle of our order to say bye to another table and didn't return. When we he returned he said nothing about just leaving. Short meny, but good food. We had to ask 4 times for the bill only to be told we had to go inside to pay in the bar!

Bahia Beach - one of my favorite spots of all time. The restaurant is situated on the beach (open from May to September). Catch sunsets in all their splendor with a merlot or cava. Excellent wine list. The cotes-de-boeuf is sublime, their daily fare exciting and quirky, it's a popular spot in an affluent area so in high demand and not cheap - prepare for 70-100⬠for 2 people.

Face à la mer, terrasse au bord du sable, vous pouvez manger des poissons frais ou viandes à la plancha. Un bar à l'extérieur pour boire un verre en attendant de passer à table. On sert tard et SANS RESERVATION.
On our last night in the Biarritz area, we chose La Plancha for dinner. So glad we did. It is, in a word, marvelous. They do not take reservations but open at 715 PM. By the time we arrived around 730 (in time for sunset) the parking lot was packed and there was a line of people waiting to be seated. We didn't care. The beauty and ambiance of the setting alone compelled us to stay and wait as long as necessary for a table. Situation right on the water with the best surf (4-5 foot crashing waves) along with the unobstructed view of the setting sun made this setting incredible. There is outside seating but clearly the preference was for outdoor seating because the view was so wonderful. The Maitre D had on jeans and a captain's hat and reminded me of the skipper on Gilligan's Island. He was tall, large and in charge and took no crap from patrons who tried to talk their way to the head of the line. After waiting patiently he found us a table at the end which we shared with two young couples. We had a perfect view of the sea although our seating was covered. Of course, the menu was mostly seafood and it all looked wonderful as we watched other patrons being served. We started with olives and fresh bread (what else in France) and I ordered scallops while my partner ordered Langoustine. Both dishes were delicious and served with salad. We ordered a lovely bottle of white wine and finished our meal with chocolate mousse. What a meal !!! What a setting !!! What a marvelous way to conclude our lovely time on the French west coast. Although the restaurant was very busy our service was excellent and it was fun watching the staff work hard to keep patrons happy. No wonder people keep coming back here. We cannot wait to return to this part of France so we can eat and drink here again. Do not miss this phenomenal slice of paradise on the beautiful coast of France. It is spectacular.

Both fish and T-bone steak were very good. The mixed salad with gambas and roasted ham was simple and tasty. The owner visits each table and is quite friendly. At the last minute, they accepted to put a candle on a cake for a birthday surprise - but did neither give us the cake to eat nor charge it!A pleasant place for a relax, friendly dinner. Reservations required, the place is not big and all tables are usually booked, especially on week-ends.

The fresh fish here is stunning, and you can eat like kings for about 40⬠a head. We had a salad of scallops and stuffed mussels for starters, then monkfish with piperade, which was huge. Rice or baked potatoes are the only sides. Here fish is the star, as the wet fish counter proves. The service is lovely, correct but relaxed, in line with the feel of the place. The boss always offers us a free digestif, then some other customers invited us for a drink on the terrace, it's that kind of place. And watching surfers as you eat is really amazing. Love Tantina, love Bidart, love Pays Basque!

We are a traditional Basque restaurant of about 50 seats, with a terrace overlooking the village square and views of the mountains. You can taste the local specialties (local charcuterie, tapas, Spanish hake, chipions à la plancha, veal axoa, txuleta 1kg
I think I expected something more from this restaurant. I ordered a salad with ham and cheese and my husband a fish. The lettuce was not really fresh (some leaves were dark) and I think that the fish was heated in microwave, as they arrive a few minutes after we ordered and it's impossible to cook that fish in such a short time. The location is really nice and the service was good.

On a wet and windy night found ourselves the first people in the restaurant. The waitress went through the food available and we shared the starter platter. It was superb - a massive plateful of regional specialities. The calamares were particularly good, but it was all delicious. I had the hake main course, my wife the pork. Again both were fantastic. We had a bottle of the Basque red wine. It was full-bodied and superb.By the time we left the place was full but this did not detract from the great service
