The restaurant is a good place for reliable, fresh seafood. The usual crustaceans and molluscs are available, plus daily fish specials (I had a very nice turbot). The thing that distinguishes Chez Huguette from the other seafood restaurants in the row is the view - it's the one on the end and has views over the bay. Watching the sun set over the bay with a plate of seafood and a glass of chilled white wine is highly recommended.

Superb fish and shellfish (the owner is a fisherman and you can buy fish in his shop just next door). Large portions. Very friendly staff (let them choose the wine!). Price-quality ratio is just optimal.

Everything was excellent from the friendly greeting to the plentiful profiteroles (one is enough for two normal adults). The poached oysters are a definite treat for a starter, the foie gras was superb too. The "Parillada de poisson" has 4 types of nicely broiled fish (it is quite filling), and the seafood was very pleasing too.The Atelier is one of the best places we ate at in Andernos. We will go there again the next time we visit this area

...la "jolie sole " était un peu maigrichonne ....dommage car délicieuse. La pomme de terre au four, savoureuse et la crème qui l'accompagnait intéressante.

A great restaurant in the middle of the oyster area. This is popular with locals and visitors and worth booking in advance although they were happy to erect more tables outside. The service is efficient and friendly despite being so full. They sell just fish, and all the better for it. Very fresh and well cooked but in a simple style. With fish thus good you don't need any fancy kitchen tricks. The freshness speaks for itself. Beautifully prepared and cooked. Best ever.Don't miss this one

Perfect place to get great sea food at reasonable prices and a view to die for! The oysters were superb and the portion sizes just right to enjoy the full 3 courses, which were all delicious! The sunset made it a memorable experience and highly recommended.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews. Full marks for vista and quality of food, but very limited. 2 types of prawn off the menu - no sparkling water. We wrongly assumed all the cabanas would be similar but no. Very friendly staff.

We went for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great setting, very simple menu, excellent service and excellent food. Choose from fresh oysters, pork pate, big juicy prawns, tasty whelks or winkles, or order a plate of each and share. Served with bread and mayonnaise. No cooking involved, just lovely fresh seafood. The restaurant did get busy even though it was out of season and mid-week, so I recommend you aim to get there at 12 noon. The owner is an oyster farmer and sells them at local markets. You can also book to go out on his boat to see him at work - something we plan to do next time.
