Possibly a relatively new restaurant, we enjoyed an excellent meal foie gras, cote de veau and strawberry soup. Slightly more expensive than surrounding restaurants and not offering formules in the evening, this was nevertheless good value for high quality food served most professionally. Strongly recommended.

We were searching for a place to eat lunch and everything seemed closed. We fell upon this place and were happy we did. Everything was good quality and quick. The fries were delicious and their open face sandwiches were unique and tasty. I'd come back.

Ordered the set lunch menu for 18 EUR and was impressed with the presentation and fresh ingredients. Highlight was the fish which was accompanied with potatoes, leeks, and parsnip. The squash soup was also well executed, the fruit tart was simple and light - not exactly my taste (would have preferred more fruit).Certainly would try for dinner if I return to the area!

Five middle-aged Brits on a university reunion for Sunday lunch had a fantastic meal. Innovative and interesting menu, as you would expect a great choice of wines - some of the vineyards are in walking distance. Lovely and thoughtful service e.g. unexpectedly offering the menu in English. We didnât hold back on either the food or drinks but still kept the bill under â¬100 per head. I have never been one for taking pictures of my food, but I captured every course as each was just delightful. They tasted as good as they looked too. Highly recommended.

Exceeded expectations in all ways....tried the Sot l'ye Laisse last night...not bad but well below this place. Confit de canard , agneau , brûlée , salad gesiers ....plus some well chosen , tasty veg ( unusual for France ) and Cote de Castillion red...equal to a v good St Emilion. Also a large open wood fire which was actually used for some of the dishes. Will return soon as possible.

The food was tasty, service was quite good but everything else left a lot to be desired. On approaching the restaurant it appeared like a deserted summer camp. No effort to make the restaurant look appealing. The decor is stuck in the 80âs. With a revamp, this restaurant could be fabulous. Somebody who works locally said they donât mind not being appealing. So it appears!!

Really friendly owner. Spoke very good English and very helpful. We must have still been there 1 hour after closing and were never hurried. In fact he tried to make us stay for another complimentary Armagnac.Very interesting choice of salads. Had tremendous chicken supreme. Very generous portion sizes meant that I had no room for desert. Really nice dining room and a great Syrah wine, apparently recommended by the President of his wine club. I will definitely return.

Close to Saint-Emilion and Pomerol on the aisles of Libourne, Cosy Tourny is a haven of peace where the decoration combines authenticity and contemporary, garden terrace , ingredients to share a moment of pleasure.
We had dinner here tonight which was excellent value for the quality of the food and the setting, we ate out in the garden area. Excellent service, very friendly yet still professional. Were going to have a white wine, small selection very reasonably priced, but decided on a supurb red which was worth every euro of the price - wonderful wine. We couldn't drink it all, driving unfortunately, but they were happy to put the cork back so we could take it away and even put it into a special wine carrying bag - great touch. Will look forward to coming back here again.

Very nice restaurant, domestic food and always delicious...portions are quite big, but there is also a few things for someone who is not much hungry .Atmosphere always very pleasant and relaxing. During the summer, there is nice terrace with lovely view on the river Dordogne. The prices are absolutely acceptable.
