We were warmly welcomed, and managed to get by on our broken French. This is a casual spot, with a family-owned vibe. We ordered the fish of the day, and the duck breast with fries. I must say, the duck was cooked perfectly -- rich and tender.

LâImpertinent is slightly off the Biarritz beaten tourist path and a bit pricier than the average âgoodâ restaurant in the Pays Basque, but well worth the investment in getting there and dining there! The small, very cozy, white table clothed restaurant, with no bar, seats about 30. The art, music and decor combine to create a warm and romantic dining room. An attractive, multi lingual group of young women (when we visited) waitstaff work cooperatively with the chefâs charming, front-of-the-house, wife, Sarah Feldmann, to provide attentive and well-timed service. However, it was the culinary experience which earned the restaurant 5 stars. Tasting or wine-paired, multi-course meals are encouraged and, although not our customary routine, we chose the latter and would do it again in a heartbeat. Most courses were from the sea (which thrilled my pescatarian wife) and were artistically presented but with the flavors and chemistry of the dishes matching and surpassing the creative display! Sarah did a remarkable job explain the subtleties of the offerings and the nuances of the remarkably well-paired wines. For seasoned diners, L'Impertinent is graduate school. L'Imperinent provided us with a dining experience that we'll never forget!

Lovely gourmet burgers in a little restaurant in the old town. Good range of burgers to choose from including vegetarian options, friendly vibe. Good value for money.

Really good dinner in Biarritz - we had a stopover in Biarritz for one night, before we started the Camino de Santiago so we were looking for a nice dinner as there was 8 of us. I struggled to find anything on the internet that looked any good, so was really pleased when I found L'Entre Deux. Exactly our sort of place - casual, friendly, small restaurant, serving top notch quality food. Small menu but everything they did was exquisite, and service was great too. Thank you!

Thank you Eric and Jackie for a wonderful evening, merci. We have thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it is right up there with the best meals we have had. This is a very nice restaurant, with a discreet atmosphere and wonderful food. Smoked fish at its best. Nest time we visit the area we will definitely go back!

We had dinner here on a Wednesday evening. The place itself is a mix of a news-stand a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant is well separated from the others and has a nice garden location. We had a giant steak (txuleta) and gambas, both were tasty. Wine was good and reasonably priced. The place was not particularly busy, the waiter was friendly and helpful.

This was much, much smaller than we anticipated - basically a few tables next door to the cheese shop. Nevertheless we decided to trust the TA reviews, and were glad we did. This place does what it does very well - cheese and wine only. Don't go with a non-cheese lover thinking there will be something else on offer - there really won't be!I had the cheapest assiette on offer - all very pleasant and mild. Husband had the next one up which was a bit more feisty and included a good blue cheese.Service was good.

This a lovely restaurant that gives an impression of intimacy without being cramped. The cooking is absolutely first class. We shared a starter platter of home made foie-gras, rillettes and lightly smoked duck breast, followed by delicate, perfectly cooked trout with sea vegetables. Service is personal and charming. We would have come twice if we had had more days in Biarritz.
