Rosehagen is a beautiful Art Noveau villa in Jorpeland in Ryfylke, in a large garden overlooking the sea and guestharbour in Jorpelandsvagen. Very nice cafe with good, local food and drinks.
Rosehagen was the first restaurant we tried in Norway and it was really tasty! We came there for the salmon and weren't disappointed at all. They also serve coffees or other beverages. The place is quiet and charming, we will definitely come back.

Brand new sushi restaurant in Jorpeland. Chefs serve high quality and super delicious sushi food. You can order food earlier for takeaway !
Although it may be a bit high-priced by some U.S. cities' standards, Tako Sushi served us fresh, delicious sushi and especially delicious seaweed salad. It's a little place, hard to find behind a grocery store, but the service was courteous, seating was comfitable, and it was just the light meal we were seeking.

We were so happy to find this really good restaurant in Jorpeland! It was a bit late already, so other restaurants were closed and we were almoste hopeless to find a good reastaurant. Then we saw this beautiful place, clean, nice environment, friendly owner, warm welcoming. The food (pizza kebab and kebab roll) was really delicious! Fresh, good taste, prepared with love. We enjoyed it a lot!

As others have commented, this restaurant is usually visited as part of a magnificent boat trip that deserves more than 5 stars, and it's hard to single out this place and review it in isolation. However it certainly delivered on its part of the whole event, and provided a unique and entertaining venue for a 'corporate evening meal' for about 80 or so.The location and views make the whole experience worthwhile, even without food, but fortunately the food was also excellent, as was the service. It was the first time many of us had tasted 'reindeer' as I'm sure it won't now be the last.
