Great booking experience with fast response by phone when the timeslot was not available. Efficient staff who all speak English. Sommelier is very good. Tuna Ceviche starter and Coconut Mango desert are outstanding with burst of flavours. Try the chef table experience (same menu and cost) so you get to see the team in action.

We had a lovely dinner at our very last nite at St Petersburg. Very friendly service and it's nice to observe the chef putting together food with so much passion and love. Very thoughtful menu :) no English menu but waitress helpfully explained everything. As with many places in Russia they goal hit heavy on the cream.

We were fortunate to find Julia Child Bistro during our stay in St Petersburg. The food was fresh, delicious and well priced. The service was attentive and friendly. We could have eaten there the whole time, told ourselves we neednât to stay adventurous but could easily have made an exception for this bistro. Highly recommend! Decided to try this restaurant after reading positive reviews from both Tripadvisor and Lonely Planet. Schengen is a small bistro a bit away from the tourist area. Decor is cozy. The menu is more Japanese/continental than Russian. The king crab salad is refreshing. The combination of crabmeat, avocado and yuzu jelly is interesting. The ox tongue matches perfectly with sweet miso. Food itself is quite outstanding. The issues come to portion and service. The dishes are smaller than those in Spanish tapas bar. We also experienced the worst service in Saint Petersburg. This is the only place in the city we felt unwelcomed. In general, the food itself deserves the praises and compliments. However, our experience here was far from ideal. Perhaps the waitresses should be friendlier in the future.Hello! Thank you very much for your kind words about our dishes. We went to Ukrop for breakfast but were able to order from their entire menu - I love that. I ordered some pumpkin-pizza dish anomy husband got their porridge. It was very nice food. The waitress let us order in Russian, even though our Russian skills are far from perfect. She even engaged in a conversation with us in Russian, whereas most other service people in St Petersburg usually switch to English when they hear less-than-perfect Russian. So we were very pleased with the service as well!The atmosphere at the restaurant is calm and inviting. All in all a very pleasent experience!Hello! Thank you for such a good review. I went to Troika Restaurant my first night in St Petersburg, it was a very fun restaurant, the show was very entertaining. Most of the dishes were good, the Olivier salad was delicious! good service. I donât usually write bad reviews however was particularly disappointed. Heard good things about the shisha so visited. No English food menu and the waiter couldnât explain so we said weâd eat somewhere else and come back. We came back and had some shisha and tea. We were about to order drinks and were told we could not keep our table, due to reservations despite a number of other free tables (see images). While I appreciate reservations, we should have been informed about the timing limit on our table. Can only put it down to being British! Avoid! Hello! It is a pity that we could not leave your table, unfortunately it was already booked earlier. We apologize for not being able to warn you in advance. If possible, we will be glad to see you again and will try to do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With respect, administration of the Lounge Room.

We were so happy to experience allSeasons! It truly is an amazing lunch or dinner experience reminiscent of Michelin rated tasting menus in San Francisco or New York but far more reasonable! The food is truly delicious and exceptionally creative - from the tasty mushroom filo in the shape of two cigars in an ashtray (all edible), to the âopenâ ravioli with tuna and caviar, to the rabbit and gnocchi soup, to the langostino with fresh fruit, to the awesome duck, you cannot do wrong on this menu! Seasonal dishes change frequently with the fresh meat and produce markets but the incredible culinary skill seems constant. The caramel dessert and the chocolate truffle buckwheat were also exceptional! Like with other spectacular restaurants, the staff was excellent and the ambiance was first class!Thank you for your feedback, for a detailed story about your visit to our restaurant!
