This is a great little neighborhood pub with great food and service. If they have the split pea soup on when your there I highly recommend that you try it it's hardy and flavorful. We all enjoyed our meals in this great little establishment and the staff was very friendly, quick and curtious with great service.

It seems that they have stopped serving food, even at weekends. The beer is good and there were quite a few customers.

This was the second visit to this restaurant and was disappointed. Two of us, each ordered steak, one with garlic mashed potatoes and the other with truffle oil fries. Done to perfection! So full we couldnât eat dessert. Will definitely go back. We were seated promptly. The staff are amazing, friendly courteous and very formative. Well worth going for a meal here.

Located in downtown Yellowknife, The Cellar Bar & Grill is a cozy basement bar featuring live entertainment weekly, and offering a contemporary bar menu with seafood, steaks, burgers and more...
On my second visit to this place, I ate dinner- a personal pizza (with pesto, spinach, tomatoes and feta) and a side salad for $14- which is a really great deal in Yellowknife. It was delicious. Hot, fresh, and really tasty. And I didn't feel like I'd eaten a salt-lick afterward. Its' a quiet place, and appears clean. Service was very friendly and quick. I'll go back for sure.

I do really want to like the Copperhouse, it is new and fresh in Yellowknife, with an interesting menu based around smoked products and specialty pizzas. My wife and I went to Dinner on Mothers Day 2019 and while the service was great the roast beef was a mediocre affair of luke warm food piled artistically on a plate. Prime rib is a standard fair that is served in many restaurants, so if you want to do it, you must make an effort to make it something special.Issues included, grayish potatoes, nice to see real mashed potatoes, but they were grey and luke warm. The Prime rib was medium but luke warm but looked a bit on the dryer side. A bit of Au Jus on top could have solved that. There was no Horseradish offered, if you are going to offer up prime rib, I would have very much liked Horse Radish. To the store credit it did offer us a 50% discount on the food, which we highly appreciated. We have been five times to the copper house, the brunch is great, if you are looking for a specialty pizza in the bar is great, but dinner there twice has not impressed me. The price does not match the Quality of the food.Hello Harry, I'm sorry to hear that your Coppehouse experience wasn't what you expected. We do appreciate your review and will take these comments and notes to our kitchen for review. We want to give Yellowknife residents and visitors a wonderful experience and your comments will help us achieve that. Thank you again.

Visited twice during my stay. First time for beers (a few local ones) and supper. I had the chowder, which was too salty for my taste. Second time was only for drinks. We ordered a few delicious cocktails. Nice atmosphere, decor and excellent staff.

Very laid back at this pub but the food is good and the beer cold. Not fancy but the staff and clientele are nice folks.

This place deserve all the good reviews; have a nice ambience, the food was excellent and flavourful (local ingredients too!) the beer is extraordinary and the service usually is fabulous too. Some waitress are better than other and the owner is a tad stressed when helping the tables... so chill man! I went 4 times during my weeks in Yellowknife and definitely I'll be back there anytime if I'm visiting again.
