If you ask the wait staff “What’s good here?” and they say “Everything” believe them!! The zucchini fritters are incredible and being originally from the New York City area, I had to try the coal fired pizza just to see how it compares to NYC...MoreHello 666ed666 thank you for taking the time to write and Thank you so much for the review was very appreciated see you soon..! thank you again Carlo

Steve & Cookie's, located near the bay in Margate, New Jersey, offers the best of steaks & fresh seafood in a warm atmosphere with live Jazz 7 nights a week. Using the freshest of local and sustainable produce, all meats on the menu are humanely raised without hormones or antibiotics.
We were two couples with a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night. We arrived @6:15 and had a cocktail at the bar. Seated at 6:25. Opted for the Brussel Sprout app (x2), burrata app and a wedge salad. All were delicious and generously portioned. Entrees were stuffed pork chops (x2), veal chop Milanese and a 20-something oz. Cowboy steak. Food came quickly without us feeling rushed. My veal chop was delicious. (They put some fresh thin sliced jalapeños in with the arugula to give it a little kick.). The girls said the pork chops were dynamite and I think my buddy is still there eating the steak. Lol. Everything ordered was great - our server, Anthony, twisted our arms to split a couple pieces of pie for dessert. Coconut Creme Pie and Banana Creme Pie we’re both the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Anthony was an excellent server with great recommendations. If in the area - get to Steve & Cookies!

The place is so clean and relaxing though it is kind of cafe more than a restaurant.
The music they play makes you not want to leave.
The food menu is amazing, everything you think about eating: beef, chicken, salad, seafood, Mexican, kids meal, pastries, bakeries and coffees plus long list of soft drinks, the staff are amazing and smily.
We didn't had chance to try their food but my husband had an espresso and one pastry which he says was freshly baked.
Keep up the good job Mambo.
If I am in the area again, I will be back again and again.

Arrived before 12:00, and quickly seated. Not too crowded. Got one lunch special, Italian bogie, and tuna melt. Both very good, as was the salads that came with them. No beverages included, looking at $23.00 lunch. Little pricey but worth it. Took home half a...MoreThank you very much for your review. What could we do to make it 5 stars. When we moved to South Jersey, we needed to find quality food stores. We found a wonderful Italian Pastry shop, it was recommended by several neighbors. We have tried the Cannoli Cake, the crumb pies and the vanilla cake. We have also bought their cookies and pastries. Everything was delicious and fresh. The clerks have always been patient and informative. We are now steady customers for celebration cakes and pastries.

Amy ( Cake designer) was super helpful , patient, and very creative. She worked with me over the phone and e mails to come up with a perfect cake for the party!

My 45th high school reunion was hours away, but before that, we took a tour of our old school to check out the changes. Reunions mean reconnecting with friends of years gone by and so it was for us.
After the tour, two long-ago friends invited us to go to Ventura's, a place we used to frequent when I was a child with my family and a few years after that as a place to go for beer with friends. It was called the Rugby Inn back then, but has been Ventura's for some years now.
Ventura's gave us a quiet, relaxed place to catch up with our friends. Offering numerous local and area craft beers on the menu was a plus, and the food and service excelled.
Ventura's carries on the fine Rugby tradition.

stopped on a Sunday for a late brunch. Service very poor. Food was mediocre. I've had pleasant experiences in the past....it seems that timing has a lot to do with the quality of your visit. they were obviously understaffed during my recent visit. everything suffered.

This was our second visit and definitely making a vacation tradition! We wanted to sit in the bar which we definitely preferred over the restaurant.. Got a window seat and got to watch the storm in the bay across the street! We went off season so got lucky with seating. A "Cheers" feel in bar.. Lots of locals having fun! We had Chilean sea bass! Yum! Sushi! Yum! Please go.. You won't be sorry!
