Thanks Tim and staff was a very present surprise the food was top quality the staff very friendly and welcoming. Lamb shank pie is a must followed by the delicious must have brownie. Do not pass through Tenant Creek without calling here for a delicious meal.
A cozy, good-feel and with outdoor seating and a great view of the Stuart Highway cafe serving amazing Breakfast and All Day Meals, freshly brewed coffee, mouthwatering smoothies, shakes and delectable desserts from the middle of nowhere :-)
Ordered a sausage roll at 12:30 and it was dry and hard (in the oven for days I believe). Coffee and muffin was ok. Best In Tennant Creek but not great.

Got a room for $115, bit pricey considering the tv didnât work, no toaster no microwave, basically trying to force you into eating at the road house. That being said I would much rather stay here then in the main strip of Tennant creek, felt safer.

Tennant Creek Memorial Club, one of the best social clubs in the Territory, with gaming facilities, live music, fox sports and the coldest beer in town!
If your staying in Tennant Creek, make sure that you have a meal at the memo club. A family run restaurant with very good food and excellent service
Cafe serving great Coffee and cold drinks Hearty breakfast and lunch Happy staff to serve with a smile
I searched Tennant and was lucky enough to stumble across Red Centre Cafe. The owners Douglas and Jo are a very friendly couple. The cafe is very clean and we'll presented. I had bacon and eggs with coffee. The eggs were cooked perfect as were the ample rashes of bacon. This is the best coffee I have had in Tennant. I will be sure to visit every time I come through town.

On the 13th September my family and I were having dinner near the bar. It was very frustrating as the service was very slow and poor. I was in to minds about complaining to the Supervisor about the service, or lack of it.When unexpectedly in front of our table a uniformed Tour Guide approached a man sitting at the bar having a few to drink and flirting with the female backpackers staff working there. This guy turned out to be the Manager of Barkly Homestead, which explains a lot about its demise. As we were contemplating our complaint the Tour Guide ask the Manager if it was possible for his group to sit inside, and the manager pointed out some tables. The guide asked if he could put them together as there was not enough seats and the manager went-off for âno reason at allâ and started to yell and abuse the guide as well as curse tour companies. The mangers behaviour was total unethical, unprofessional and disgraceful as the guide was asking a simple request in a polite manner, never raising his voice, was professional and always calm, but the manager whom seemed to be slightly intoxicated was extremely rude abusive, and provoking the guide, who was viably upset and dumbfounded at this stage. The manager appeared to be drunk and looking for a fight, asking the guide for his name and cursed his company and then yelled "Get Out" several times at the guide. We were so upset we finished our dinner and left. Neither the service nor the atmosphere improved during our stay. If the Manager acts this way to a bus group of tourist then we have not chance of approaching him with our complaint successfully; and from reading some of the feedback below it is not the first time that this has happened, or the Manager has been abusive to customers and told people to Get Out!. When the Guide left the Manager continued to drink. Well what can I say ⦠Donât worry about the service, you just keep on drinking and flirting with your staff!Anyway we approached the tour guide later that evening whom was still visibly upset and could not understand what happened and why the manager was so rude and aggressive. Telling us that the Manager was being vindictive and scaremongering as he already knew my name as I have been in contact with him via email, and he knows we canât go anywhere else. We reassured him that we had witnessed the event and the manager was offensive and had a lot to answer for. After considering writing a letter of complaint to Barkly Homestead, but not knowing the position of the Abusive Manager (who could be an owner) we thought that this would be a better forum to warn people and travellersâ about the abusive behaviour and violent atmosphere as well as poor service at Barkly Homestead. Word of warning .. Enter, make Requests or Complain at your own Risk.

We had one night here on our way to Uluru. We stayed in one of the basic rooms and it was very big and had a nice en-suite bathroom. We were provided with towels and everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. You had to pay for wi-fi access which we didn't do so I can't comment on wi-fi speed/reliability. Anna's restaurant attached to the motel was great.
