Things to do in Red Centre
The Red Centre Chinese is possibly THE best lunch place in the Alice. They offer a consistently high standard of food and fast service. It's very popular with locals and visitors alike. This eatery is best known for its AMAZING Laksa soups. The serves are very large, extremely tasty and most satisfying, nor do they scrimp on meat portions. For taste and size, the combination Laksa is the best. Free hot chili sauce if available for those who enjoy their soups a little hotter. Also try the juicy chicken satays as a meal or snack, In our travels home and abroad, we've tried to find something that comes close to the Red Centre Chinese 'Combination Laksa' â but it probably doesn't exist.
Not after any thing too flash, ordered a yummy combo noodle box and two springs rolls from this busy little noodle bar. All cooked fresh within 5 mins. They offer takeaway chopsticks or spoons/forks. Food was tasty, hot and good value. Just what I was looking for

I saw other peopleâs reviews. The restaurant does not have a very high score. I hesitated whether I should try it. Glad I decided to come. We ordered white wine and a couple of seafood dishes with their special fried rice. The serving was quick; the food was absolutely delicious. We totally enjoyed the food and wine, had great time dining in the spacious restaurant.

My husbands chow mein had the most taste of three dishes ordered. and THAT was of soy sauce. WAIT! There WAS lots of taste in hot n sour soup. The dipping sauce for my calimari was total waste of calories (as was entire dish). Friend's lemon fish had ugh texture AND no taste!?Very dusappointed to find that theyd brought me a dinner of the Calimari when I'd stated i wanted 2 'starters'. Cost for 3 of us was $106. Surly the most expensive bad Chinese in my life!

Chinese takeaway was great.. huge menu friendly staff eat in or takeaway. For some reason the prawns were off the menu apparently due to lack of supply but had scollops instead. Thouroughly enjoyed. Enough for another meal. Also advertised as steakhouse but only sold rump no menu. A bit confusing

Shown to our table and given menu by hostess. Selected meals, ordered and enjoyed reasonable meals. Paid bill and was charged several dollars more for each meal than shown on the menu. When queried, was told "Oh, that's the takeaway menu." It didn't matter that this was the one that the hostess gave us, nor that there was no mention on the menu that dine-in prices incurred a surcharge.
