This is the restaurant Kuopio sorely needed. Everything on our plate was basically local ingredients! Fine cooking executed to perfection with creativity. Portion size just right. They make their own gluten free bread which was fantastic. Service was friendly and attentive. Good value for money. Love the wooden touch in the decor and the little lounge at front. If I had to change something it would be the paper napkins. Iâll definitely come back on my next visit to Kuopio!

Small, cozy and so lovely place. A real grandma's in the middle of Kuopio. In mummola you may get the real Finnish taste of grandma's pastry.

It was a nice positive surprise to visit this restaurant inside the Kuopio railway station. No beer drinking drunks but a very clean and spacious restaurant. Excellent service. Not a place for gourmet dinner but certainly a nice place for a drink and a bite, especially for those waiting for a train.
