I came to visit family and write a book. This was the best spot to write for hours, drink coffee or beer, and have internet access! Super friendly staff, especially - Tommy! Thank you O Cafe. Stayed here with my partner in 2018 for two nights. We had been staying in Uganda for over 1.5 months at this point. Good location central to many things in Gulu. Unfortunately when we stayed the restaurant was not open other than for breakfast. We were looking forward to eating here as we had heard good things and were hoping to try it out. This may have been poor timing on our part as we stayed on Sunday and Monday - we knew the restaurant was closed Sunday but didnât realize it was closed Monday as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the place is safe and secure. The washrooms are separate from the rooms but are clean and function well. I personally, however, found the bed very uncomfortably. I donât typically have issues sleeping on a variety of beds but this bed was painful. It was clearly well used as it sagged heavily in the middle and had very little cushioning left. The timing of our visit somewhat effected our overall impression of the Iron Donkey - again we have heard great things about the food and drinks when the restaurant is open.

Elephante Commons boasts of large space for customers, and with no doubt, they do have the best Pizza in Gulu town.

I traveled with friends from London for a business trip , got to know about the restaurant online , we ordered for three course menu which was delivered to perfections , cozy environment, professional staff & mgmt team , i love my cappuccino with the best baristas in town , my friends loved the whiskey , and we plan to hold a workshop in their conference hall next time we are back , we lately got to know about the availability of training facilities . This is one of the few places where foreigner like because of the Indian menu - Keep it up Team
