They start with a friendly welcome, followed by an array of starters (ham, melon, empanadas, cheese, bread, olives, tuna spread) and then you get to order. The Brazilian meat cut was extraordinary. The price was very good for the quality and quantity provided. We had lunch here one day last week whilst staying near Viana do Castelo and enjoyed it. Sandwiches and snacks were good and price too. Had one of the best Banana Splits I had eaten in a long time. Would eat there again if we return to the area. Only thing to note it did get very busy with the beach close by so had to wait a little while for service.

Outstanding food as result of the top quality ingredients, cooked with the heart by the chef and owner of this small place. The couple received me as if I was at home, such a pleasant experience. They also have a cared selection of local products, from olive oil to wine, salt or cookies.

Just two blocks from the tourists hotspot Placa Republica. Trendy place with sunny and shady lounge backyard. Comfortable and copy, with very friendly service, good simple lunch and great coffee. Even with traditional italian cappuccino which is often difficult to find elsewhere.

When other venues were shut on a Monday night we were pleased a waterfront restaurant-bar was still active. We watched a beautiful moon-rise while enjoying a very pleasant white Sangria. The âspicy squidâ was ordinary but the salmon and sirloin steak dishes with veges and wild rice were both pleasing. We couldnât find any ice creameries on line locally so had the Baileys ice cream which was very nice. A good evening overall.
