The interior of this place is much better than the outside suggests & commands great views across the Minho. They also have an extensive menu in English with enough options for all our fussy family members - including vegetarian & a Japanese section. The only downside was the service a little slow - though have to say friendly & accommodating to all our requests. We enjoyed our wide variety of options - including Ceviche, shashimi, sushi on top of our other more regular meals. Craft beers available is always a bonus plus some decent wines. The whole thing is good value also.

We went for a coffee and stayed for lunch! A lovely looking restaurant with stunning views of Spain, Caminha and the river Minho. The meal we had, Sea bass for 2 was stunning!, freshly caught sea bass, salad, wonderful potatoes and grilled peppers. The service was wonderful, the waiter was friendly and helpful. If you are ever in Caminha or Moledo, try the restaurant, I donât think you will be disappointed!

Stayed in Caminha for a week & went to this restaurant on four occasions each time having a different meal. All meals were excellently prepared well proportioned & great value served by a very pleasant helpful young waitress !The restaurant is very clean & has a nice informal ambience.I would recommend booking or going early as on our visits within an hour of opening it filled up mainly with locals which is always a good sign !

Special decoration and interior especially the disco light at the back. Very friendly and joyful owner that serves the clients himself. Very proud of the family restaurant. Nice view of the estuario of the river. The food was typical portuguese and a greasy, very entusiatic with olif oil and garlic but for the rest fresh products and good food.

Lovely restaurant, with amazing service. We were here with 2 little kids, a baby, 6 grown ups including g one wheelchair user. Nothing was too much. We were advised on which wine was best (not the most expensive one one the menu), the bacalao was very good, so was the octopus as well as everything g else. Starters great too.. fully accessible for wheelchair users. Prices very reasonable. Will definitely be back...

This restaurant was recommended by our local host and as it was convenient to our accommodation on a cold autumnal evening, we popped by. We were lucky to be allocated a table because it was a busy Saturday. Some had salads, others had gambas and steak. All was delicious. Portions were large so we didnât have dessert. The house wine was good also. The wine selection was beautifully presented and seemed vast (pic).

This has always been my favourite restaurant in Caminha. The food quality is excellent although much more expensive than other restaurants. It is charming and elegant and great for special occasions. Thank you for retaining your charm

If you are in the mood for some great ribs - then this is the place to head for. We reserved a table for a busy saturday evening & were well looked after from the moment of our arrival. We ordered ribs, duck, prawns & salad to share. Loved it all - very tasty & perfectly cooked.

It is located in the village of Caminha, where the pleasure of a tasty meal mixes with the absorption of the history of the town center. Recently renovated, the restaurant "Baptista" lives in the same space where they erected the first place of entertainm
We arrived for lunch after a morning around the area and sat outside unaware of what the restaurant represents - and my goodness we were really blown away! Each and every plate was so amazing that we can truly say it was the best lunch we have ever enjoyed. It clearly surpassed the meals that we have enjoyed at our previous favourite Nathan Outlaw restaurants and can only envy the locals here for the quality of the plates and warm professional service on their doorstep. Many thanks to this lovely talented family for the experience.

Visited for a little dinner, but was so good that we have stayed for far more:)The place is very close to the ferry boat, a few small blocks away from the main square of Caminha.Small family business with few tables and a large bar table, running on tapas and great selection of wine.Sponsored by the Galician Nordes gin, you can enjoy good gin tonic with your starter of a small cheese with bread and chutney. After that there is a great selection of tapas from the region and local ingredients. We went for the prawns, octopus, chorizo and croquettes, each of them presented very well and full of flavours. We didnt keep any space for a dessert, so cannot comment on those, but surely we missed something nice.Very friendly staff, comfortable and accommodating restaurant with easy ambience, great food, what else can you wish for..?;)
