Our group toured the Manor House, then enjoyed a Fantastic dinner pairing local foods and wines. Our ONLY disappointment was the meal took place in a large Banquet room set up for Huge groups, and it is modern and not part of the original Casa. We passed a lovely dining room inside thinking that is where we would dine, but I think that is probably for the Hotel guests. BUT, the service was exceptional, the Food was delicious and interesting. We had unique Potatoes mashed with Octopus, some delicious fresh fish, fantastic different wines served with each course ( and generously poured.) Too many courses to list. All presented artistically as well. A wonderful meal for sure.

Cosy Italian restaurant with simple yet delicious meals on the menu. We welcome everyone with authentic warmth and will do our best to try and make you feel at home. The perfect venue to celebrate with family (children more than welcome!), catch up with f
I go there for lunch on occasion, this time decided to take the family...got there and the owner asks if we had a reservation, of course not...the place is completely empty by the way. So, he says, sorry we're totally booked...went by later, after having had pizza at Mamma Isa and the place is at 50% at best.

One cannot take issue with the scenery, architecture, interior design, or presentation. The food however leaves much to be desired. A beautifully cooked Maine Lobster Tail was destroyed by a Passion Fruit Sauce that turned the sweet lobster to a bitter piece of chewing gum. A coddled egg was presented beautifully in a glas egg but was overcooked and paired with a pickled sauce that again overpowered the gentle egg. A black bean stew tasted as if it had come out of the can with almost no seasoning. The. highlight of the meal was a perfectly cooked piece of goat with a sweet pea puree. However the puree would have been better with the lobster. Overall the food is not up to par with the location. Considering there re only two tasting menus one a 3 course and one a 5 course, and that the dishes overlap from one to the other, one should expect a much higher quality of cuisine. Especially at the prices they charge. The night we were there only 15 people were served out of a possible 25 per night. So clearly something is wrong.

It is a small but interesting place. They serve small traditional Portuguese dishes (petiscos). I had the pataniscas of octopuss and moelas. For desert I got lemon pie. Strongly recommend

The food was perfect as always. We good there at 19:15 to secure a table on a friday night. We had the Nacos de Vitela and the Feijoada de Polvo, both were very very good! It is always a place to stop when in Viseu.

I was at this restaurant for a birthday party. The entrees were outstanding. Sausage cheese, sausages, octopus salad, feijoada, cod fried fish. the main dishes were on the same level with highlights for the fillets of octopus. Fantastic room. Very cordial and efficient employees. Excellent wine list.

This small and lively place is slightly off the beaten track in Viseu away from the popular cathedral quarter, but within easy walking distance and well worth seeking out. We thought the food was great and the service excellent.

Our concept are the appetizers, the aim will be to share small portions. Portuguese traditional products well presented. "Wine friendly" Restaurant!
we spent a very nice evening in this modern well appointed restaurant, specialized in tapas and good wines. liked the fish/seafood tapas better than the chicken one, we found stuffy.friendly welcome, good service, good knowledge of wines on offer. and the dao was excellent.well situated and fair prices.go there...you won't be disappointedThanks for sharing and for commenting, we hope you can serve them soon in our Restaurant.See you later!!

Restaurant specilized in beef, namely "arouquesa" breed, a very succulent and juicy meat.
The restaurant is very pleasant and the staff very good, the outside is beautiful, but unfortunately if you are a non smoker you are confined to the inside (also very pleasant ), we ordered steak and only one word, amazing, as I like it and so big I was unable to have the chips and salad, we coming back soon.

PROS- Food quality: To me the main PRO of this restaurant, the food served is made with quality ingredients and perfectly cooked;- Menu variety: A few options of genuine portuguese food, also the wine sellection is impressive. Wide and with great top quality wines;- Service/staff: very efficient and professional, also friendly not too much, the right kind of sympathy for a restaurant;- Price: Is not the cheapest options in the city, the average price per person with starters, main, dessert and drinks is around 15â¬/20â¬, depends the ordered wine also.CONS- Not easy to find it, is really in a dead end, without the mobile phone indications I would never find it. But there's plenty of space to park the car;- Small restaurant, booking in advance may be helpfull.DO I WILL RETURN?- For sure yes!
