First there is a room where you can try the cheeses, breads, cold meats and sparkling. Simply incredible. Then the typical foods are delicious. I recommend the black pork, which is created by the owners of the restaurant. And for a dessert from the "natas do céu ". Best restaurant I've ever been in Portugal. unmissable.
Cataplana de polvo a melhor que já comi!Polvo com um sabor a mar brutal a batata no ponto e os restantes temperos do outro mundo!Claro o serviço brutal!Obrigado

Very attentive staff with an excellent atmosphere. The baby back ribs are to die for (also the house specialty); succulent and they keep them coming. Very affordable and a very quaint atmosphere. A must if you're in the area. Very much recommended! Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Restaurant integrated in a wine producer farm. Very beautiful building and good ambiance. The food is very well made and is harmonized with the regular wines produced in the farm. Sympathetic and professional employeesVery good value for the price, for the daily dishes.Exists degustation menus harmonized with pricy wines.

We are located in a unique place - parque do Carreiro Velho, near The Pateira - the largest natural lake in the Iberian Peninsula. Here you can find playground for children, go for a walk, fishing or just relax and enjoy! Cafeteria . Sumaria . Vinharia .
Third time, first lunch. Fabulous food that one can feel the love and passion within the most authentic ingredients that make final result really worth it!! Every time, the warm welcome, the atmosphere, the food all together make the visit perfect but today, the cherry on top of the cake, was the ability to overlook, while having our lunch, the amazing view where this place is ! Thank you David, for being a true alchemist and sharing it with all of us!! Hope to be back soon!!

Restaurante português com buffet de entradas, pratos quentes e sobremesas, para além dos pratos à carta e o genuÃno leitão à Bairrada
Locally sourced ingredients, prepared beautifully and washed down with wine from the local Douro region - what more could you ask for? Well maybe a quiet location with lemon trees heaving with plump fruit lining the car park maybe and storks flying from nearby roofs? A great lunchtime experience - this was great for a business meeting.

Good ambient And good food.

The service is not perfect, it's a typical old school Portuguese restaurant but the leitão here is simply the best in Portugal from my research and experience. To get here it's only possible with a rented car because it's too far off from anywhere but if you are staying in Porto, Just spend a 1 hour drive and come here. It's worth for the experience

Restaurante requintado com pratos de autor! Local acolhedor e sossegado. Apenas utilizamos produtos de grande qualidade! Local para não fazer apenas uma refeição mas para desfrutar de uma experiência de sabores.
I was looking for a good meal near where I was staying in the Ãgueda region. This turned out to be one of the best meals I had during my entire 25 day stay in Portugal. The Gaspacho was impeccable: a bowl was brought to the table with a disc of shredded fresh mozzarella held together with a basil pesto and the gaspacho (which had been puréed and had a light slightly creamy colour) was poured over over this disc from a tea pot. It was fresh and bright and exactly what i needed after a day out walking around in hot sun.The Bacalhau com Broa was beautiful: the chefâs take on this Portuguese classic was marvellous! It was hearty, the salt cod was tender and the corn bread crust was perfect.I left thoroughly satisfied and was excited to bring my girlfriend there a week later. I will post this review separately. If youâre in the Ãgueda region you should/must make room in your schedule to go to this restaurant. On top of the fantastic food, the owners are wonderful, knowledgeable and excellent hosts.

Our Portuguese friend took us to this village where his family go often for gatherings, the piglet was definitely worth the drive and all the dishes that were local tasted and looked amazing....service is friendly and even though their English was limited, we felt right at home.
