Stopped in for drinks after skiing twice - lovely! Pricey but so is everywhere else. Booked in for dinner - fantastic menu and meals were delicious. Served beautifully. Service was good - could have recognized empty glasses quicker! Would recommend the food!

It is more like a motel or B&B, rooms have own entrance to the outside, about 20 minutes from Ruka for downhill skiing but right by the hotel we have the possibility to go crosscountry skiing or take a snow scooter trip. Also husky sled riding is possible, the owner can arrange that. You drive your own sled and the guide will have his sled in front. Can be very cloese to the Russian border trail. Food was excellent.

Hard to choose from the selection between burgers, fish & chips, ribs and so on. Yummy! We had the fish & chips and the pulled pork burger, both served generously in a small basket. Lovely cosy atmosphere with a great decoration on american sport where hundreds of pictures cover the walls. Enjoy a fresh drink, finger food or simply your meal while watching at the big screen or the many TVs broadcasting the games of the moment. We had no reservations on a Saturday evening and yet the service went fast with friendly staff.

Kuusamon Tropiikki Café is situated in Holiday Club Kuusamon Tropiikki Spa Hotel. It doesn't serve breakfasts, lunches or dinners. You get only coffee, tea, ice-cream, a variety of sweet and light snacks here. The selection is quite small. However, all cakes we ate were very delicious. I especially loved their cheese cake.
