This place did not impress. âSmÃ¥rettene»(small dishes) weâre basically swimming in mayo, hoi sin or other typically sugar based sauces. I like sweet stuff, and the food was so beautifully presented , but my eyes could not be fooled. All three courses were hard to finish because of the lavish amount of sauces, so I nether could or would. Perhaps the nigiri or sashimi would be a better bet here ? I am a flight attendant so I basically eat all over the world. And basically whatever I get:-) this was disappointing though. And by the way- the service was awful. A non norwegian blonde tried to make it up at the end of the meal but before that she was just plain rude, uninterested and not very helpful. I decided to leave when she insisted to put me by the tiniest table in the almost empty restaurant but before I managed, she could suddenly make space after all. Thatâs not how to welcome guests and surely not how to keep them coming back. She attempted a smile and explained the food but that was not very interesting as I unwillingly felt I was participating in a silent war. Nope, not coming back. Ever.

My wife is Thai so we like to try Thai restaurants outside of Thailand. This is certainly one of the more remote ones. A fairly large restaurant, friendly service and authentic Thai cuisine. My wife ordered a spicy traditional salad that was not even on the menu. It did come at a high price though, but this is Norway.
