Enniskillen (/ˌɛnɪsˈkɪlən/, from Irish Inis Ceithleann, meaning 'Ceithlenn's island' [ˈɪnʲɪʃ ˈcɛlʲən̪ˠ]) is a town and civil parish in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is located almost exactly in the centre of the county, between the Upper and Lower sections of Lough Erne. It had a population of 13,823 in the 2011 census. It was the seat of local government for the former Fermanagh District Council, and is the county town of Fermanagh as well as its largest town.

I called into ashdale chippy last Friday at lunch time. I can not rate this chippy food highly enough. I ordered 2 fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Even better then I've had out of this chippy before. Hats off to the cook. The 2 girls working this day were very busy but so efficient with how they dealed with every customer I seen them serve. I asked their names and it was Tish and Patrina. I had a brief conversation with Patrina as I complimented her and to my surprise she is only working here 2 weeks, I would of never guessed as she worked as if she worked there for years. The girls really looked like they enjoy their job and there relationships with customers is next level. So nice to see. Hats off to the 2 girls and ashdale chippy. Still have not the wright words to explain our experience.the food we ordered was not nice, (probably ordered the wrong thing, just breaded chicken, chips, gravy and stuffing).Mash and pies for the Baby and some chicken nuggets and mash for the older one. we got charged shocking 27£

We arrived in Fermanagh rather late and this was closest location for America grub. Hubby had a classic kebab in pitta with chips, think it was about five pounds. Place looked spotless and food v tasty and quite quick too and cooked to order. Handy for a quick bite, varied menu.

We popped into 9th avenue after a little Friday night shopping. Had come straight from work so we were dying for some nice food. We ordered pizza, steak sandwich and bacon/cheese wedges. We were served by David. Really lovely to deal with. Our milkshakes came promptly. Our food followed not long after. It was delicious. And all perfectly cooked. lovely premises, friendly staff and great price. Will definitely be back.
