Craigavon (/kreɪˈɡævən/ kray-GAV-ən; Irish: Creag Abhann) is a planned settlement in northern County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Its construction began in 1965 and it was named after Northern Ireland's first Prime Minister: James Craig, 1st Viscount Craigavon. It was intended to be the heart of a new linear city incorporating Lurgan and Portadown, but this plan was abandoned and less than half of the proposed work was done. Among locals today, "Craigavon" refers to the area between the two towns. It is built beside two artificial lakes and is made up of a large residential area (Brownlow), a second smaller one (Mandeville), plus a central area (Highfield) that includes a substantial shopping centre, a courthouse and the district council headquarters. The lakes, a wildlife haven, are surrounded by woodland with walking trails. There is also a watersports centre, petting zoo, golf course and ski slope in the area. In most of Craigavon, motor vehicles are completely separated from pedestrians, and roundabouts are used extensively.

They do the nicest sandwiches here. Cant be beaten anywhere else in fact all the food here is lovely. The staff are friendly and the place is spotless clean. Its always busy especially at dinner time which shows how good it is. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere too.

Went here for a Boxing Day meal with the family. Had a starter and main course, which where both amazing! Definitely recommend the hot wings! The main course was delicious, the chicken and sauce were a brilliant combination! The staff were even more helpful with bringing a few round of drinks to our table without having to move. Will definitely be back!

Most dishes reasonable. The wrap with chips was good. However. Oh dear. When your complaint that the base of the baked potato is as hard as the road is met with âyou seem to have eaten it allâ when there is slightly less than 1/2 of the skin of the spud looking at you, there is no point in continuing. You lost customers today. And ones that might easily have come back and encouraged other to do so.

Nestled in the rural countryside outside Banbridge, Mollyâs Mill has the character and presence of an old country manor with an interior to match. Since opening their doors in October 2017, the newly refurbished bar, restaurant and off sales has provided

Hubby and I called into Pretty Mary's on our way to catch the Liverpool Ferry. Like other reviewers we found the place quite dated and, because Royal Ascot was on, there was some serious betting going on. Don't let that put you off, because we both had one of the tastiest meals, well cooked food and with good service and reasonably priced. We'd definitely return again if we were passing. We both visited the toilets on our way out and, again, they were both spotlessly clean.

Every time I visit I am never left disappointed. The staff are welcoming attentive and friendly. The menus are thoughtfully prepared with daily seasonal specials. The food is freshly prepared with excellent presentation and satisfactory portion size. I will definitely be back and recommend if you are in the area taking time to enjoy a meal or coffee and treat.

Visiting friends who took us here for an evening meal. While the decor is lovely and the staff efficient and friendly I am afraid the food did not match up. My wife's prawn cocktail was very basic with only lettuce and cucumber as a base for the prawns, and her duck had no vegetables served with it. My pork chop had one carrot and one parsnip. Any extra vegetables needed to be purchased as extras at £3.50 per portion! I was going to have a steak, but objected to paying £25.00 just for the steak - again any sauces/chips/potatoes etc. were £3.50 per portion. Having to go upstairs to the bar area to order our meal and then back down to the restaurant was a pain, and will cause considerable problems to the less able bodied.Overall this restaurant does not deserve the reputation it appears to have. It serves overpriced mediocre food - will not be back.

A last minute outing with my husband. We both took advantage of the steak deal for £15 with all of the trimmings. Great quality food and great service. The only downside was no card machine for payment with no signs to let you know before you go in.

I've visited Kitchen a few times over the last couple of months and usually with baby in tow. Staff are very helpful, rearranging furniture to make space for highchair and then storing buggy. They do a wee bowl of mash, veg, gravy etc for toddlers. Seems to be a very popular spot and understandably so! Highly recommend a visit.
