I had a good breakfast here, poached eggs, sausage and with toast and coffee. Unfortunately there were no clean tables. When the waitress was about to set the tray down I asked her to clean the table, well she cleaned most of it, then looked around at at least 5 other tables that needed cleaning, ignored them and went back to the kitchen. I was there for about half an hour and none of the tables were cleaned. I decided to write this because I see that management actually respond to complaints. I will definitely be back and hopefully this will be resolved.Hi Travellingsilent2019My name is Alan and I am the owner of the Causeway Cafe. Had'nt been here before until last Friday 28th i went with my son, he goes there all the time & asked me would i like to go. Well, Glad i did. Staff were lovely, most helpful, courteous & the Cafe Cuisine was Absolutely Spotless, they had so many different foods etc, it was difficult to choose, every thing there was so scrumptious, beautifully arranged.I settled for a Panini with ham, tomato, etc etc, was beautiful & cooked just the way i like it.My Son Had the same, he said their fries are amazing. Would deffo recommend.

Murielâs is always an old favourite of ours so called in for a couple of martinis and had the two platters one of cheese and one of hummus, just as a little nibble. Then we had to move table as where we were sitting had been previously reserved but that wasnât a problem. We moved on into the bar area and had our main courses all of which were great.Murielâs has a nice friendly âfront sitting roomâ feel. Always great staff excellent food and the cocktail list is wonderful

Letâs face it, if you want lunch in Glengormley which hasnât been deep-fried in dripping (and thereâs nothing wrong with that, when you're in the â occasional â mood), you have very limited choices â in fact, Linen & Latte is pretty much it.Fortunately, itâs a little oasis in that culinary desert â and itâs combined with a very tasteful little shop selling⦠ummm⦠Iâm not sure how youâd describe it, but it all looks very attractive. More for the ladies, Iâd say. Gifts, clothes, flowers, that sort of thing. All we can really comment on is the food & coffee, and itâs very good. Itâs a small menu, but in our book thatâs no bad thing â try to do too much, and you probably wonât do much of it well. Their offerings are a cut above the usual in terms of quality. So, for example, their bacon sandwich is made with crispy bacon and sourdough toast, served with Ballymaloe Relish on the side. Also good are their sweetcorn fritters, served with all sorts of things, and roast chickpeas with quinoa, goatâs cheese, butternut squash, pomegranate seeds, leaves etc.Coffee excellent; lots of tasty looking sweet stuff, but neither of us has a sweet tooth, so haven't sampled them.Well worth a visit if you haven't been.

If your visiting Belfast and want something to eat without fancy price tags the visit the West gourmet Sandwich Bar situated near the now famous Primark Building Castle St it has a great variety of hot and cold sandwiches panninis and a variety of other dishes for the on the go visitor and of course there is always the good old Ulster fry on offer for a reasonable £5.95 that's for the large BTW service as always in our City is friendly and you don't have to wait to long once your order is in only downside you may have to wait on a table especially on Saturdays but don't let that put you off as it wouldn't be long. So next time your in Belfast give it a try

If you ever need a reason to visit Ballyclare this is it. I have visited this spot on several occasions before and whilst Ballyclare has numerous coffee shops to choose from the others all have a lot to learn from Blooms. My most recent visit was simply for tea and some afternoon treats and as usual the staff, food and surroundings were all excellent. The location for Blooms is above a florist at the bottom of the town and whilst not ideal for those with mobility issues due to the stairs it is simply above and beyond in all other areas. The staff cannot do enough and are always very pleasant and nothing is to much. The food is well presented always and the choice of fresh homemade desserts and pastry are enough to leave you wanting to choose 2 or 3 options. However the scones are always a big success as well. The decor and seating areas comprise several variations from snugs to tables suitable for afternoon tea. Definitely worth a visit! Pushing the bar higher for local coffee shops, its a pity the others dont follow.
