After narrowly avoiding having my wife poisoned by a neighbouring restaurant we came here.Upon being told about the previous experience the waiting staff went out of their way to make sure that my Wifes diet requirements were met (Celiac Gluten free).Pointing out Menu option that would be safe and offered her a great meal from their menu.Food was quick and very tasty

Our newly built 125 seater restaurant and gift shop is cosy and full of character with vaulted ceilings, old beams, huge fireplaces and Belfast brick. If you gaze out the window you will see beautiful views towards Stormont and the Craigantlet Hills, we h
We visited this place for coffee and cake. Waited five minutes to be shown a seat even though it wasn't particularly busy. We were eventually shown a seat and waited a further five minutes with no one coming to serve. A party of four arrived after us and were shown menus while we were still waiting to be served. We left and went elsewhere. We obviously do not go to the right church. We will not be back under any circumstancesHello Bill,I was horrified to read your review and immediately reviewed the footage to see what had happened. The timings are as follows:You stood at the door for just under 2 minutes, a waitress then showed you to your seat. You were seated for a total of 3 minutes 30 seconds. When you sat down each of you went up to view the desserts/traybakes/scones for the first 70 seconds. You were only seated together for 2 minutes 20 seconds before getting up and leaving. A waitress at this time told you she would be right with you, she was just letting a table know what scones were available so they could review the menu. Standing at the other customers table you said that they were just in and being served and you werenât. These people were only asking which varieties were available then the waitress was coming to your table as you were first. You then walked out without even giving the waitress a chance to reply. She was left stunned with the table of 4 she was standing in front of. I am sorry if you think anyone purposely ignored you but you were only in the building a total of 5 and a half minutes. We give everyone the same service - church goers or not! We are also not perfect, but we do try our hardest and so do every member of the team. I hope if you ever come in again you can see that and have an enjoyable experience. Thank you.

I go here from time to time to get a good honest home cooked breakfast or lunch with great service, reasonable prices and I am made feel very welcome. Great too for childrenâs meals, brilliant alternative to McDonaldâs with a wide variety to choose from. Iâve lived in the area for about twelve years and only been coming to the Willow Tree for about two. Give it a try, once discovered youâll be hooked.

I visited for breakfast with a family member. We were served promptly and had scrambled egg and toast. They food was well presented and the portions were adequate but not large. The restaurant quickly filled up however the restaurant was not noisy and it appeared to me that the standard of service was maintained. The bistro is situated directly on the street close to a busy junction so there is limited room to sit outside (just a couple of small tables). I would say the experience was enjoyable with the only annoyance being that the front door did not appear to close properly when just pushed to and several times it was left open causing a draft which was irritating.

You know the old saying, when on holiday go where the locals go, well McBrides is that place.Set right on the Square in the heart of Comber, McBrides is truly a flagship for community pubs. Locals from all generations choose McBrides for the warm friendly
The restaurant is on the first floor, above the bar, however, it has it's own entrance. There are good views over the square from some of the tables. My husband and I had dinner there on New Years Eve. The restaurant was busy enough to have a buzz however it was not overcrowded and the waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was well prepared and presented and was served promptly. I found the price paid to be reasonable and will certainly visit again.

Had used this restaurant many time and have notice that during the last number of months the prices and value for money is very poor. We ordered a mango curry wrap. It arrived with a large amount of mango chutney sauce (from a jar) and about three small cubes of chicken. Priced at £7.95.

This cafe/deli/shop is simply wonderful and we try and get here at least once on our trips back (we were lucky and made it twice this time). Service is consistently good, the food is outstanding whether it's breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and one of their superb homebakes - you'll be spoilt for choice. Using local produce it's a delight to visit and we're assured of quality every time. Never disappoints.

A beautiful country pub and farm shop in Lisbane, near the shores of Strangford Lough. Emphasis on fresh local produce, pub grub classics and seafood from the lough. Michelin recommended 2014 and 2015.
Slipped into The PoacherâPocket for dinner on the recommendation of our B&B host and dinner was delicious. Wait staff was attentive and checked on us several times during the meal.Wide variety of food options, something for every taste, so consider stopping in if youâre in the area.

We had decided to try this restaurant after checking the menus, as my OH doesnât eat any vegetables what so ever and and it can be hard to find somewhere that he has a choice other than fish & chips, chicken goujons or burger, he settle for the fish cake starter but had to yet again choose a burger as everything else had veg somewhere in it, both our starters were nice, I had the chicken spring roll, he did find the burger turned out dry by the time he got half way through it, but it was very tasty, I choose the chicken & beef in peppercorn sauce with a side of salad instead of the potatoes, although the food was, as I say nice it was the service that let this place down, there was three members of staff on the evening we were there and although pleasant, none of them went out of their way to see if we were happy with everything, the bill was asked for and left on the table, we put the debit card on the saucer but nobody made any move to come and take our payment, two members of staff walked past a few times, so we headed to the bar area to pay, maybe this is what you are suppose to do but if they had said when they brought the bill we would have known what to do, we were not asked if we enjoyed our meal or if everything was ok, so sorry guys but we will not be back. Hi DavidI am so sorry to read about your awful visit with us that has left you and your OH feeling like you would not come back. Actually sorry I have just read your review and can't see why you have left just so unhappy.I have spoken to my staff and let them know I am disappointed that they didn't check if you were enjoying your meal as we pride ourselves on doing this. We do not rush to get customers money but perhaps they should have noticed your card or you or your OH could also have just requested they bring the card machine to your table. If you had let them know your OH didn't like vegetables or if your OH had said himself we could have done most of the dishes without vegetables and offered something in their place. Sometimes it is only a matter of asking rather than writing!!!!I hope maybe you read your review back and realise it is a little harsh to say you won't return due to a couple of tiny things and we prove to you next time we do welcome everyone to our restaurantNicky CaugheyDirector
