Debrecen was also the capital city of Hungary during the revolution in 1848–1849. During the revolution, the dethronement of the Habsburg dynasty was declared in the Reformed Great Church. The city also served as the capital of Hungary by the end of the World War II in 1944–1945. It is home of the University of Debrecen.

GF good and tasty. All the dishes were good. The fried Hake fish was one of the best fried fish I've had. I had to try the strange dish on the manu - a strawberry soup. Palatable, but not recommend (:The fact that they have a digital menu where the English version has only pictures, and English is not the waiters' strongest suite, is odd. Serving olives in oil that is NOT olive oil, is extremely odd.

I have eaten here four times whilst staying in Debrecen. The food is really great and very reasonably priced.They do everything from salad to red wine beef stew and it all tastes amazing.They also do all drinks from coffee,soft drinks and beers.I would recommend the place to all... The locals eat here and when it is busy wait for a table....so it must be good.

Relative new to town, the place where you can select and mix a wide variety of ingredients and create your own salad. Traditional green salad stuff, supplemented on demand with chicken, beef and fish (tuna or salmon). You can order from fix creations or build up yours from scratch. I tried the same "premix" and by just adding 2-3 more ingredients like jalapeno / pineapple or pickles and by switching the dressing I ended up each time with totally different characters. Be prepared to get large portions, which is excellent if you are very hungry; also, when you order it as take-away, it is surely enough for two. There is also a cream soup of the day, the ones I tried sofar, were delicious (corn or broccoli or green pea). A light dessert and soft drinks from a rather short list can be ordered too. The place is not cheap, but it provides an attractive, fresh alternative to a healthy meal.

Small cozy restaurant, with nice interior. I had pumpkin burger and I loved it! I also was impressed with the burger bun, very fresh and tasted really good. Burger portion was enough with a side of fries which were very tasty i must say! They offer a variety of smoothies and juices too. For dessert, Bounty cake wasnât very impressive and I felt it was too sweet for my taste, but their apple pie was just made to perfection! Highly recommend it.Overall the prices were alright considering the quality of the food.I will be back again to visit this place and hopefully try other items in their menu.
