What a great surprise! We passed near by and came in for lunch. First of all we received a very friendly welcome. Then we were lucky to decide to try the stuffed vegetables. These were amazingly good. Delicately seasoned, the eggplant, squash, vine leaves ang cabage leaves were so full of delicate tatses keeping the unique essence of each vegetable. The rice stuffing was modest and accurate. The tomato sauce was comlementary and delicious. They were simply the best I tatsed. Then we had Arab salad with extra olive oil. We got a big bottle of home made olive oil, so we could add as much as we wanted. The salad was excellent and the oil was the best you can get. Then we had Ossobuco which also amazing. It was meat with a big hollow bone on rice. The meat and the bone were so good. You felt many different spices, yet all so delicately and accurately implemented. We also enjoyed the comlementary herb tea wich consisted of fresh sage & louisa. It came with a piece of baklava. That piece was the only ordinary food included in this meal. This a place to return to.

Arabic Bistro. Local arabic modern food and drinks.
Luna (the name of the lovely soul who owns this restaurant) had been highly recommended by a friend from Haifa, so when we visited Nazareth, we made a point to reserve four seats. The key to great Arab cuisine is simplicity, but Luna complicates this formula with some secret beyond knowing. I had the lamb chops because I love lamb, but I don't know how I will ever have them again with any degree of enthusiasm. Luna's lamb chops were the best I've ever had! After our meal, she served us hand-made pistachio-filled pastries that could have been manna from heaven. If you ever visit Nazareth, do not make the colossal mistake of failing to book a meal at this incredible restaurant. Thanks, Luna!
