Find out what European restaurants to try in Iasi. The large city of Iasi has been a cultural and political hub since the 15th century. Everything orbits the Golden Plateau, bookended by the Palace of Culture and Union Square, and packed to the brim with churches and palaces galore. Iasi has significant Jewish history. The first Yiddish-language newspaper was published here, and the 17th-century Great Synagogue is the oldest surviving synagogue in Romania.

Located in the courtyard of the Literature Museum which, by the way, deserves at least one visit, Restaurant Casa Pogor is a wonderful place full of history and poetry. In the old days it was the place where important Romanian artists were gathering. It i
Went here based on my search for no-traditional restaurants and was completely satisfied, even positively surprised. It is an elegant, quiet and modern restaurant, stadd is very friendly bur in an unintrusive style, and the food is excellent. Interesting dishes, well cooked and very tasty. House wine is absolutely good, I didn't have a bottle, but their wine list is impressive.

The Cin Cin story walks you through 4 countries, with some of the most representative dishes, made from custom recipes. We care about the appearance, taste, smell, we follow every step when preparing the dishes, and try hard to induce you in an internatio
The place is great, in an old jewish sort of pallace/castle, right in the city center; the food was also good, the staff needs more field related training. Being a very pricey restaurant for the city of Iasi, the waiters need to pay more attention to the way they take care of their customers and potential customers. We were many and therefore treated quite well, cannot say the same about two people entering the restaurant without a reservation. They were so rude rushed out by the waiter though the restaurant was empty.

This restaurant was great, and the prices were incredible here. The portion sizes are big enough to get two meals out of one dish, so this place would be great for splitting a meal with friends. My friend got an order of bread with her meal and the bread slices were almost the size of her head! I ordered the bacon wrapped chicken, and it came with a yummy dipping sauce, potatoes, and a salad. It was plenty of food. Atmosphere here was very cute and the staff were nice!

Staff is polite and they serve the orders in good time.Place is good for couples dining but also for special occasions.Restaurant and lavatory are quite clean. Recommend eating at the terrace if weather allows it.Everything on the menu has good price for the value.

CUIB is a pioneering social enterprise that serves only vegetarian food, prepared with local ingredients, fair trade certified teas and coffees and ecologically certified beverages.
I loved this restaurant! I ate here for lunch and what I ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious. They have ethically made food, and it is all vegetarian. Even without meat, you will leave feeling full and satisfied. I had the Legume dulci picante cu orez, which ended up being seasoned rice with lots of veggies on top (see picture) and I would definitely order it again! Prices were really good too. The only thing is that the menu is totally in Romania, but I never asked for one in English, so Iâm not sure if they have one!

If you like fish, then you should not miss this restaurant! If you don't, then you mightht leave hungry from here, as it's all about fish here. We had a fish soup and some fish dishes, wih several fish and seafood inside. What I didn't like was that most of the fish is fried in oil (therefore a little greasy) and they don't use the grill that much (I prefer grilled instead of fried fish).
