The restaurant has a variety of seafood & meat dishes! Recipes are based on traditional Greek dishes but all have an exhilarating twist (fusion cuisine). Dishes are prepared by a person who loves to create & satisfy the most demanding connoisseurs. After 15 days in Ikaria, and having tried many of the islands supposedly good restaurants, we can surely say that is was the tastiest food we had and the best service we experienced!The restaurant is positioned in the woods, and except the birds and crickets, visitors may listen to nice alternative music. The environment is lovely. The owner has build tables and benches using the islands' stones!A must!

Taverna Apostolis is not easy to find, but when you do you wonât regret it. Lulaâs little place is a hidden gem, the only restaurant in Magganitis serving home-cooked gorgeous dishes. Lula grows her own vegetables and has high quality ingredients and healthy food as leading star. We have had fantastic goat and fresh fish, horta and Briam there, every dish is just great. By far the best in Magganitis, definitely among the top ten in Ikaria.To find it, drive into Maganitis on the main road. Pass the first taverna on your right, and after 200 meters turn sharp right up a steep road. After 250 meters the Apostoli is on your right. And youâre in in for a real treat!

Theodosis offers welcome oasis, far from the "busy" coast, towards the interior. Many flavours not available elsewhere. Map location is correct.

than local products to open a good restaurant. This is another family business, the mother being most probably the cook and the teenage daughter serving as a waitress. The raw ingredients were evidently of high quality but the cuisine left a lot to be deserved. Of course they brought no receipt and we regret that we did not ask for one.When it comes to meat on Ikatia, Sotiris is a much better option or even Kritikos at Therma.

What can I say, if not that the restaurant is close to the beach, the fish is fresh and the waitress is kind and gentle? The Greek salad is amazing and the local white wine is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the fruit is for free!
