Found this place towards the end of our holiday, no frontage from the road (just a sign and a menu) and a steepish slope, but glad we did. Warm welcome from the attentive, but overly so, staff. Cracking traditional Greek food in a stunning location right above the beach, with fantastic views across the bay. Can't say much about the food except it was well cooked, well flavoured, great value and 'proper Greek' with plenty of choice. We visited twice and spent no more than 35 euros on both occasions, including beer and wine; go for the house red. Can't fault this place. Not open at lunch time (when we visited in September) so might be different earlier in the season.

Probably the best waffles we ever had, they almost literally melt in your mouth. We got three different ones, every one of them was excellent. Greek coffee (Greek, not Turkish... don't make that mistake :) ) almost as good as my mother's.We also got a bottle of well chilled water and every time we finished one we got another one, free of charge... which is, from what we saw, not a custom.

A Café-TaperÃa that combines coffe, drink, snack, food, music and the best panoramic view of Samos town above and beyond. The cusine, simple and tastefull, combines greek and spanish dishes with original local products.
On the heights of Vathy, CorTo offers a scenic view on the bay. Absolutely magic at night.Stella and Elias the owners and cook make ut a unique place. Elias prepare the salty dishes. Mushrooms, amazing polpo served on potatoes, outstanding spanish cheese with a home made quince marmelade. Stella is the sweet master. We just tasted a marvelous cheese cake. No more words. You have to try!Book a table on the terrasse.

I came across this place fortuitously while strolling the back allies at random. The turquoise furnishing somehow drew my attention and I decided to glance at the menu. I liked the eclectic lunch offerings at reasonable prices, so I followed the owner to a table outside (nice sunny day). The place seemed friendly and while I was there, few locals stopped by to have drinks and chat with the owner. At one point, I saw her running outside excited; calling the man who walked passed the restauarnt. According to her, he was a good friend who just recovered from a serious illness. Their conversation sounded Greek to me but I could tell she was euphoric to see him. Anyway, I ordered the Greek Salad, the chicken souvlaki and a cold drink. The tasty salad came with a huge piece of cheese and a basket of bread, which I still crave for now and then. The chicken souvlaki consisted of four sticks of chicken kabob with fries. I was not thrilled with the fries but the chicken was certainly delicious. I would certainly consider going back to this establishment, if I happen to be at Samos in the future.

Grill House
Waterfront location. Simple menu. Staff speak enough English. Large helpings. Good food. Good value. Highly recommended.Only problem is that the lighting is a bit vicious...

What a great hidden gem that we discovered with the advice of trip adviser. The town is a very small village that is quite beautiful! Lots of old neoclassical buildings very clean and delightfully small narrow streets. This restaurant is amazing in its presentation of food. The owners/chefs take on fish is wonderful. We had the small fish with shrimp fried with sautéed onions in a frittata fashioned as well as fresh calamari a liter of wine and six appetizers including a house special salad that is wonderful delicious greens, giant beans, tzatziki etc. and the cost was approximately 1/4 of what we would have paid back home. The flavor was 100% spot on and I could not make any suggestions on making it any better. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again

Solid is our favourite place for a number of things when in Samos town, starting from breakfast. The place marries old warehouse elements with industrial features and luxurious touches. It is located a few metres from the water front, steps away from the
This espresso bar probably has the best espresso on the island. They use excellent quality beans, they don't pre-grind their coffee like many do. Their coffee machine and grinder are fantastic and the result is of course amazing coffee. The food is good as well

small restaurant in the center of Samos town, kind of tapas bar , with great music and relaxing atmosphere. Vintage vibe in a relaxing and calm place of the city, all jazzed up with music ranging from smooth blues and jazz, to classical rock
Had dinner here tonight after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Had two salads, cabbage/carrot and eggplant and two meals. We had grilled chicken with potatoes and fried calamari. Both were delicious and inexpensive. No view as such as in little laneways but you can watch the passers by. We had a local beer and glass of white wine too. Both inexpensive.

Came here with friends after hearing excellent recommendations. The food is amazing, the view is excellent and the service was the best part. We were treated very well by our lovely waitress and couldn't fault the experience at all. Would recommend to anyone coming to Samos. Thanks for a great evening!
