Located on the road across from Billyâs Rentals that goes down to the beach, Elliâs Taverna is well marked with signs that announce itâs family owned, the food is homemade, and the prices are good. Itâs all true! The prices are the lowest we saw in Anaxos

Sorry we call this place man in a box as he cooks all the food on a BBQ in a brick building. Great fresh food from there own farm meats vegetables. Some of us went for the fish which was fresh and tasty. Recommend if you are down there way

When we go to Anaxos, we rarely have lunch anywhere other than the Paradise.If we are there early in the season our favourite would be grilled sardines from the Bay of Kaloni & if it's late we would probably go for the mackerel or palamida, which is like a small tuna.Occasionally you may be lucky enough to find fresh (freshly caught, not freshly defrosted) kalamari. Small, sweet & delicious!Ask to go to the kitchen to see what fish is available & choose your lunch (or dinner) right there.They serve all the usual Greek fayre too of course but we rarely look further than the fish.Value for money, good, friendly service & a strong (free) WiFi signal. We shall return.

Another nice beach club and cafe on the Anaxos beach road.Offers very good sun bathing facilities with extensive food and drinks menu.Prices are reasonable as other venues alongwith the Anaxos beach.During peak times,service gets a little bit slower.That's all.We liked this beach club.Strongly recommended for any action during beach hours.

Well situated on the central seafront this well appointed snack bar. Offers comfortable seating in a relaxed atmosphere.we we particularly impressed by the hygiene, the toilets were immaculate. A wide choice of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices makes this an ideal place for a casual sojourn. Well worth a visit.

We visited Vasilils in the evening having walked past a couple of times in the day.Service was quick & friendly & the food was really nice. I particularly enjoyed my Greek mixed grill & everyone commented on what great value for money the place was.In short this is a great traditional Greek grill house which we will definitely visit again. Service with a smile & great value for money. Does exactly what it says on the tin! What more could you wish for?! :)

I love Ariston as it has no pretentions to be more than a good local taverna providing a basic menu, but very well done indeed.All dishes are well cooked to your preference and you can ask for them to be changed around and altered to your taste. I love the Chicken Souvlaki here as it isn't dry as it can be other places.Always niece freebies and nibbles with good service.

The food at Omega is just amazing! We had the most delicious meze dinner and our children shared a pizza. The service was great and the food just amazing. The value for money was outstanding too. I would definitely recommend eating here and trying one of the meze menus as well as the lamp chops! We also got free home made ice cream as a pudding on our fiesta visit and cheesecake on our second.

We went to Anaxos Beach on the last evening of our six day holiday in Lesvos. Here we wanted to try seafood at Aggelos restaurant by the sea. We ordered grilled sardines, fresh grilled calamari, grilled shrimps, salad and homemade wine. Each one was delicious. The sardines in particular were so fresh and beautifully cooked that we didn't even need to debunk. The calamari was also very tasty and fresh. Restaurants with female operators are doing very well. Giving wet lemon wipes in Greece is not very common in all tavernas so it was also very good. Of course, watermelon served at the end of the meal is a stylish gesture. If you happen to be in the area, you should definitely stop by this restaurant, which has a lot of variety besides seafood.Sent from my iPad

Luckily for us, this lovely traditional taverna was right on our doorstep.. We ate here a few times and the food and wine served were always delicious. The Stamna was the best I had ever tasted in Greece... ever... Service was always with a smile and the place was always busy with local families and some tourists. A beautiful and relaxing setting, a must if staying in Anaxos.

Had not had a break for two years, so it was imperative that we found somewhere where both myself and my wife could relax, all spot on, wherever I was within the establishment there was always another cold beer waiting to be served to me, highlight was with my wife, she has a very specific eating problem, the chef sat down with her and discussed her options, needless to say it was a complete success, only for the 2nd time in over 7 years that she has eaten something and it has stayed down, an absolute triumph:)
