Things to do in Petra
The many previous visitors to Molyvos will remember the the little cafe at the bottom of the Agora run by the wonderfully friendly "dodo".Dodo has now moved premises to a new cafe next to the Castle. The new premises under the name Byzantine, continue with
We read good reviews regarding this buffet restaurant in Hilton athens (Byzantine), and decided to try it. There were enough choices of food. It's Mediterranean buffet so all is well, got the good experience of tasting food that we never had before. But when we asked the server to give us a piece of their pork loin roast, we were in for a big surprise, she came out of the kitchen and decided to cut the meat with her bare hand holding it, not even with a fork or wear gloves, eating in a place like this (Hilton) we did not expect that. It's a good thing the meat was really tough and dry that we did not eat it. That was the only turn off, the rest of the experience was ok. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, service was good.
Our cafe provides sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, as well as an outdoor lounging area. It is the perfect place where you can relax and enjoy your coffee, light meals and refreshing coctails.

Your home at the end of the harbour for international cuisine, world coffees and teas, our famous fresh fruit cocktails and smoothies, and the best view of Molyvos. Vegan and vegetarian menu options available. Serving you to the sound of jazz since 2003.
When you want a change from moussaka and xoriatiki, then Brasserie Bazaar is one of the few places that offers something different from standard Greek fare. Thai curry (spicy!), Turkish meatballs, and burritos are among a few of the delicious dishes that the owner, Amber, serves up with style and a smile. It's a charming spot just above the port with great views. An added bonus: Amber loves books, and frequently hosts readings by authors who have been inspired by Molyvos. A true delight, and not to be missed on a trip here.

Ate here for breakfast on a visit to Petra and had a lovely laid back Greek breakfast that filled us up for the rest of the day. At next to the beach in nice surroundings and not too much footfall passing by made it a very chilled out experience.

This place is so warm, and not only because of the temperatures in June on the beautiful island of Lesbos. The service is good, the man and woman who own the place are really nice. But the food! Wow. Everything has its own special and unique taste, and everything me and my partner have eaten was delicious. We came back more than once during our holiday. Coco's is, in the back, equipped with a garden with beautiful flowers, which you would not expect coming in from the side of the road (which may scare you off a little bit, at first instance). This place, without any doubt, makes up one of the best places in Greece I have ever eaten.Thank you so much for your review for COCOS.We hope to see you again

Situated on the road to the church on the rock the DAK has a superb roof terrace ideal for catching the sun and people watching. With reasonable prices and quality snacks they should do well. Worth a visit.

Our go to place for a drink after dinner was Bebaâs Corner a great place for people watching and striking up conversations with lots of nationalities. It has a new owner this year Yannis who always made you welcome and found time to speak, also the young girl serving was very efficient and would remember what drinks you had.Good luck Yannis. See you next year.Lyn & Roy Robins

Without doubt the best breakfast in Petra. Real English bacon and sausages, and all cooked really well. Must have been about 5 times in two weeks and never disappointed. Like most restaurants they allow smoking however and this can be a problem (if like me you donât like tobacco smoke) as if you are unlucky you can have heavy smokers near you. As most places around the world donât allow this, itâs a bit of a shock in Petra.Really liked this place and a great place to chill.
